Hm..I don't see the need for Maximus unless extreme overclocking.Hero ..eh..
This board would do everything you need it to: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813138380
Good choice on the GPU brand ..
As for the RAM ..Idk what these people know about Haswell but it will clock RAM
as high as it goes.I do believe there a 2400 CAS9 kit and a 2600 C10 kit.I'd get the higher-binned RAM;It's worth it.
I had the Biostar board..It's pretty nice solid, too.

Ok this computer will be used for primarily 2 things.
a. Gaming
b. Posting annoying questions on anandtech

Ram: G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C10D-16GTX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231589

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA LGA 1150 Intel Z87
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813132038

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116901

To a grand total of $831

What I will be pairing it with
a. Titan (have 680 now giving to my kid so she can game
b. 1500 watt thermaltake Powersupply
c. A few SSD
d. Windows 8 (only for the new directx version, Everything else about win 8 Sucks)

I do have a few questions also
a. What do you guys think of this build
b. Is there anything new coming out that would benifit me waiting a month
c. Is the ram there good for gaming because I always have difficutly selecting the best ram.
d. If I spent a bit more money could I get something better. I dont wanna go nuts but shelling out a few extra hundreds to get best of the best would be something I would be willing to do.

For power supplies stick to Enermax. They are the quality PSU people. Why chance it with someone else. Ram stick to Micron/Crucial if you can afford it the Ballistix Elite line. Motherboard Asus - good choice there. That's 25+ years in the field overclocking experience.

I've seen others come and go - Abit anyone . Those three companies I mentioned they have earned the right to be the best of the best.
