It's like alcoholic Dr Pepper! It's so sweet and smooth. Mmmmmmm.
I haven't had access to other, nicer (expensive) liquors, so I don't know about anything else >>
You should make a Flaming Dr. Pepper one day. We drink those sometimes, taste just like drinking a regular Dr. Pepper.
You need:
lighter
a really big cup (like the Supersize cups you get from McD's, BK, or Hardees. Make sure it's plastic and not cheap cardboard)
a shot glass (single shot)
Beer (1 per drink you want to make)
Amaretto
Everclear, 151, or another drink of equivalent alcoholic content (at least 75%)
-Pour an entire beer into the cup and let the head settle down.
-Pour a little more than 3/4 a shot into the shot glass.
-Pour just enough everclear into the shot glass to make a layer covering the amaretto (don't mix it up, pour it in slowly)
-Light the everclear
-Drop the flaming shot into the cup with the beer (it'll splash, that's why you got a BIG cup... right?)
-Don't mix the drink up, immediately drink the entire contents of the glass, don't stop halfway otherwise you'll get a bad taste in your mouth
If you do it right it tastes exactly like you're chugging a can of Dr. Pepper. The Amaretto flavors the beer to taste like Dr. P. The carbonation in the beer makes it bubbly like Dr. Pepper. The everclear flavors the whole mix just a little, but it helps with the Dr. P. taste.
The flames are because this is a social drink and playing with fire is fun

EDIT: Fixing quotes. Also... try to do this with 4-5 people. It makes for a good night, especially with sports on
EDIT 2: For beer, try to use beer that doesn't have a super strong taste. We use Bud Light or Natural Light.
