It's silly superstition, and I object to all forms of it. Christianity isn't the only form.

The fairy tales that get shared from religion to religion, and don't have any more basis in fact than Tolkien's Hobbit.
Disregard for science, and the belief that non-believers are condemned to eternal torment.
