I won't even begin to discuss the $600k worth of MLSS since nobody really knows what that's for here.

$450 subwoofer (HSU VTF-2)

Not necessarily something I own, but I've been known to spend over $100 numerous times on dinner for 2, which many people think is excessive.

I have a couple of blue and gold macaws that alot of people can't understand why. Figuring thier worth at about $1200 - $1500 for each bird, $800 for the cage and around $500 for other accessories; movable perch, stationary perch mounted on the celling, etc..

But, they're my buddies

i can say i shoot pool nearly every day, and every time i pick it up it makes me feel good, in addition to making most of my shots.

you really dont pay for the pointy stick, you pay for the inlays and artwork on the cue itself. you can get a barebones meucci demo cue (black, nothing fancy-schmancy) for $200.00. the shaft that comes on it is nearly $150 by itself, so youre not really paying so much for the butt portion.

meucci

predator

i promise you that if you even shoot pool as a part time hobby, once you pick up a real cue you will notice the difference.

One does. His favorite word is "what" He also meows and barks, he dances (taps his foot and nods his head) to the radio and likes to chase the cats. The other one is a bit introverted.

All my computer and electronic junk. Most people couldn't ever understand why you'd want more than a laptop that opened a web browser, AIM, Word and WinAmp. There's probably several thousand dollars of equipment and software sitting around me right now.

May not sound like a lot, but its impressive for a college student. Good things come to those who don't spend ALL their money on booze.

My mic normally costs $300 (I got it for much less), although compared to professional studio mics that cost $3000, it's nothing. I'm also looking at buying a Digital Rebel soon.

$28,500 (cnd) for my 2003 Civic Hybrid. Most common comment is that I won't save money on gas to justify the price difference. But I also bought the car for geek and WOW factor. The $1000 Ontario tax credit, the longer scheduled service, the standard creature comforts (climate control, better seating, better audio, etc) also are benefits of the price premium for a hybrid vehicle

My headphone rig is worth about $800-900. I paid maybe $600-700 for it because I got everything used. I don't tell people how much I got everything for because they'd call me a complete lunatic. I enjoy it, though I've more or less hit the end of the road with the headphones.

all my money goes to my bills and mortgage.

i'll probably spend $300-400 on skates for next season, and i'm jones'in for a new set of irons which could run me upwards of $1k.

nothing too extravagant.

If you have something like this post what it is and why it's worth that much to you.

I'll start. I have a $1,500 bicycle. When you really start to take mountain biking seriously, they're like PCs, and you want better performing componenets. My bike is up to about $1500 right now, and the next upgrade will put it around the $2000 mark, when I can afford it. Why do I do it? Because a nice bike is more fun to ride, and less likely to break and cause you to crash.

What do you do to protect your bike from thief?

Hmm where to start really.

How about 32 12 inch subwoofers in my home theatre..

That usually gets it started well.
