My E6850 is running at 3.6GHz (400x9) with 1.35VCore.

When I bench I run it at 4.2GHz with 1.6Vcore. I figured I might get it benchstable at 4.3GHz if I had watercooling but why bother?

4800+ x2 @ 2.9ghz will do 3.0ghz but i like to step back from the edge once i find it.

3800+ x2 @ 2.6ghz will do 2.7 at the edge also.

Hans: If your board overclocks, my E4400 would run 2.8GHz perfectly stable at default Vcore. Shouldn't take any more power to run and, like twjr said, it's a free upgrade. Couldn't hurt to try!

I run at 3.0 GHZ daily. I can run at 3.2 but had to leave the case off and the system is quite loud which got tiresome. When I ran at 3.4 I had to have my turbo fan sucking air out of the case which got annoying.

thats 24/7 @ 100% load on Bionic WCG.

And yes those are fully loaded temps on a Q6600 not even breaking 60C. Since the weather has gotten a bit cooler, she hovers at a nice 50C. Couldnt ask for more on a fully loaded quadcore.

My NAS X3220 is pushing 3.6ghz non stop WCG as above.

My other crunch box, HTPC Q6600(B3) is running @ 3.375ghz nonstop on WCG.

My other X3210 is pushing 3.2ghz <had to pull her off WCG, her pump died>

My Q6600ES is pushing 3.825ghz nonstop doing SQL stuff for my dad at his office. Had to turn down the overclock for maximum stability. She normally can do 4.050 with her present gear.

Thats my farm of 5 quads.

E2160 2.9Ghz, with all power saving turned on, still works fine. idling at under 30C/ 55 loaded.

Mine runs at 9.3Ghz 24/7. I also drive one of those monster trucks with the big wheels. I'm only 5'1" and have a teeny weenie so I have to compensate somehow

3.85 GHz typically. Idles around 50c, which isn't bad for a PentiumD. Cpu fan is set at around 7volts when cpu is idling. Stock voltage and EIST active.

Haha small e-peen magnification in the sig!

This new AMD X2 4200+ Toledo (939) is running 245 X 11 = 2695 MHz for daily use, with DRAM on an 11/12 divider, air cooled.

Passed all stability testing (OCCT, Orthos 24 hr, 3D MArks, etc.).

vcore = 1.408.

cpu maximum temp during stress testing load = 55 deg C,
cpu normal operating temp = 27 to 36 deg C.

It'd need a better cpu cooler and probably better RAM to reach its upper limit of 3,000 MHz.

But I may not invest more into the 2 Socket 939 rigs here (the other one has an Opteron). Rather wait for the new stuff.

3.6 with C1E and EIST, idles at 2.4. 1.47v in bios, 1.42 at load, 1.3 (VID) at idle.

In other words, my GO Q6600 idles at its full rated speed and default voltage with temps in the mid 30s. When I need the horsepower it kicks up to a 50 percent overclock. With all four cores loaded in S&M the max is 66c, Prime95 rarely breaks 60.

Life is good.

Good setup if you can pass S&M. Excellent Vdroop. I'm down 0.4V with Orthos on E4300/3.49GHz. I also set 1.465Vcore in BIOS.

s939 X2 4400+ 1.36V 227x11 for 2.5 GHz daily. CPU could go higher, but i'm too lazy to make the mobo/ram cooperate. Seems more than adequate to my gaming needs.

I have an E4400 @ 2.8Ghz (280Mhz FSB), default (slightly undervolted) BIOS vcore. (No BIOS vcore adjust on mobo, otherwise I'd clock higher.)
RAM is DDR @ 224Mhz, 2-3-3-8.

Also had an A64 4000+ @ 2.81Ghz stable. Working on getting a G0 Q6600 to OC.

3.2ghz usually for the past year. My setup is completely capable of running at 3.8 all the time, but I noticed a drastic increase in heat dump. I run it faster over the winter months.

All Speedstep/C2/C2/EIST/all thermal throttling options are turned off. Gigabyte P965-DS3 Rev1.0 F10 BIOS. Rig runs 24/7 and has run perfectly for the past 15 months.

I too run my 6400 @ 3.2GHz (8x400) and with an Abit IP35-E and Hynix DDR2-667.

My Hynix DDR2-667 does 400/5-5-5-15-2T @ 1.9V.

Opty 170 @ 2.7GHz
2 GB of OCZ @ 225

All at stock volts / RAM timings. I have an A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo, so that's what's holding the RAM back; there's a ~240MHz limit on memory and the dividers are quite sparse. This will (have to) be good enough for me until next year when I plan a full upgrade.
