what do you think about an eu super federal state

im from the uk, and will vote for the euro, and a federal-type gov when i get the chance, i think blockisation will be good all round if its democratic and run well, and not some kind of cosy carve-up for germany and france, but now that kohl is gone im not too scared of them trying that.

I'm also from the UK and will vote against any crap like that, especially with the plans to expand the EU to include many of the poorer Easter European nations.
IMO Britain is too different from the rest of Europe (both economically and scoially) for it to work properly, at least at the moment.

How can it be democratic? I don't recall any of the EU citizens voting for the EU president. Just their own countries leaders. EU sounds more like the IMF and the WTO. Just another false front for the movers and shakers of the upper echelons to do what they want.

I would love to see the EU get their act together and actually accomplish something (other than going to war with itself), but it will never happen.
