Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness

Oh, you said car, not game... ummmmmm... Chrysler/Dodge made some really bad cars back in the 80's.

I talked to a lady in New Mexico while I was on my way through who loved her yugo, she said whenever it broke down her and her husband could just pick it up and put it in the back of the pickup.
It was actually in good condition supprisingly also.

Mid 80s Chevy Nova? Why?

I had an '86 and it was actually a Toyota Corolla. It was great as far as I was concerned because it had a smooth ride, comfortable seats, and it got me to and from work every day and through several out of state trips. Even though it was 10-12 years old, it wasn't even rusty. I bought it for like $850 with 118,000 miles and put 45,000 more on it. While I had it, I had to fix one driveshaft boot, the exhaust system, and the timing belt at 150,000 miles. That's it! I sold it as is after another driveshaft boot was done for and got $400.

Yeah that was cool but the sedans were horrible. based on the old Fiat 127 (126) from the 60's. they made upgrades and managed to make it worse every time. LOL!

Trust me when I say Lada is the worst EVAR!

and how exactly would you know that

I grew up in south america. Ladas were selling like hot cakes when they first arrived. After 4 years they stopped selling them and Daewoo filled the lower end markets. The Niva was ok..the boxy sedans were not (19X somthing?). I learned to drive with the boxy sedans (forgot the name). Simply horrible

I included that because my buddy used to own one. It was incredibly slow, very ugly, and handled like garbage. And the tires/wheels were TINY, even by econobox standards. Eh, I guess to each his own...I just don't like them.

Vega
Yugo
LeCar

Both depreciated while in dealer's lots, Vega would rust before it was sold, Yugo's wouldn't start.

I've had a Pinto, it wasn't a bad car for the day, Pacer's looked so cool, I still want one

Been a mechanic for 27 years, had the pleasure of working on a Yugo many years ago. Had a bad head gasget- pulled the head, and saw stamped on the underside " this unit is not designed for re-machining". Nuff said.................

Ah, but it was never made to fast, stylish, or a great handler, and I agree with your assesment. But it was far from a low-quality unreliable POS. For what it was supposed to be, an inexpensive point A to B appliance, it was very good.
