How old do you have to be to smoke whatever it is you smoke?
I think the drinking age should be that of adulthood, 18. I think children should be allowed to drink under adult supervision. That way they could get used to alcohol's effects while being supervised.
It's ridiculous.
Having the drinking age so high creates for more binge drinking during the high school/early college age thats for sure. Its the "ooh something we can't have so we gota have it" mentality in kids.

Sure we can, we just can't buy the alcohol. That's no problem though, you just need older friends.
At any age you want. Usually 17-18. And no you can't drink until 21 still.
If you want to get technical, it's 21 to purchase. In many states, private consumption for people under 21 isn't illegal. For example if you're 16 and a parent or whatever gives you a beer at home, it's OK.
But anyway, should be 18 to purchase just like everything else IMO.

Oh ok, so it's cool if you like have a few friends round when your parents are out for example, that's fair enough then I don't think that having to take your drinking out the house is a huge concern when your young, if you have to just stick at home it's all good for a while.
