What do you think of this layout?

i'm working on my new hobby site. tell me what you think of the layout. does it look ok? should i add or subtract anything? (there's some stuff i have to add to the right side.. so it's not completely there) thanks. i need some constructive feedback.

tight. nice color selection. I have a couple comments:

1. what is with those "arrows" i noticed a lot of designers like from 2advanced.com, and many many top designers use this arrow. whats with it?

2. The car at the bottom is chopped off. I recommend you fix that.

3. site is simple, nice but simple. I think you do need to add someting to the right or maybe even the top middle part. The site is tight but someting is missing. like a feel, i dunno

Sweet!! I love that tri-column idea.

My guess is that you'll have the full image of the car on the site?

how about trying to move the columns to the right a bit and add in some sort nav.image on the left?

I'm not sure what you're going to do with the right side, but IMHO I felt like it was off center.. Other than that, I like what you've got. Maybe another color other than just red. A gentle background would do it, I think.

that car on the bottom is actually supposed to be aligned all the way to the right and bottom. like cropped off like that. just imagine it as on the bottom right corner of the page. as for the navigation.. i dunno yet.. and yeah.. i do agree that it's missing something... i guess i'll keep working on it.

think of something that can fill in the white space on the bottom left corner. I rather like the top right white area just underneath your "links, forum, contacts" area.
