What do you think of this setup?

I'm gonna order the components for my new system probably this week but this is my first build and i want some opinians on the setup first. This is what i'm thinking of getting:

Processor:Athlon 64 3500+ (with Coolermaster Hyper 48)
Motherboard:MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI
Memory: 1GB PDP Patriot PC3200 Dual Channel
Video: EVGA Geforce 6800GT PCI-E
Hard Drive: Western DIgital WD1600JD 160GB SATA
Optical: NEC 3520A
Case: Skyhawk MSR4610
PSU: OCZ Modstream 520
Speakers: Logitech X-530

The only things i have lef to choose are the fans (five 80mm) and the fan controller.

Looks like the beginnings of an excellent gaming rig . Although I have never heard of the case manufacturer that you mentioned (I would go with a Lian Li personally). You may want to wait for the Venice core processors which should be available very soon.

I'd go for DFI Ultra-D and TwinMos ram if you overclock at all

Skyhawk makes decent Aluminum cases, i've seen some good reviews i just have to find the link. Lian-li is a little out of my budget range right now and the SKyhawk seems just as good and it only costs $50 shipped.

If I had to pick something that looked out of place, it would be the speakers

Looks very nice other than that.

What do you reccomend? I don't want to spen a whole lot on speakers right now, the other hardware is a big investment for me.

If you're not a sound freak, the X-530's are great. I'm not very picky about sound, and I really like mine. Plus I think they look good.
Your link for the casr review doesn't work. But when buying a case, I would personally only buy one that is made for 120mm fans. More air and less noise is always better.

I'm not that picky either. Besides, isn't using good speakers with integrated soun a waste of money?

Integrated sound isn't as bad as it used to be.

The x530s are fine for a budget set. It's just that to me a really nice computer like that sound have some nicer speakers to go with it. A speaker set is going to hold its value better than just about everything else in that system so it makes the best investment if you look at it like that

Sorry i haven't been able to respond but right now i have to use library computers so i'm pressed for time. i'm going to order the parts tommorow ! I think i'm sticking with the speakers for now because its the only way i'll be able to get the other components.
