What do you think of Uncharted 2?

Yeah, I needed that tip too. Got it on rental and don't want to get hung up on a stealth/sneaking mission.....don't like 'em anyway and hope it isn't representative of the game.

I can't seem to get past the balcony part without getting detected. If I press X once, it merely brings me up one step to the flower bed/plant area. I can reach that part fine but if I jump again to hang on the ledge, the guard always hears me.

I can try to make a video of it.. but I dont have a save anywhere around there. Try jumping up when hes not so close to the balcony.

Just beat the game. The story is flat out god damn amazing. The cinematic feel of it is so well done.

I figured it out. You have to jump up and attack the guy in one felled swoop. I thought you could hang on the balcony for a second and just chill out.

Fantastic, fantastic game. Probably the best game story I've ever seen, or at least among the top 5 easily. Sure it only took me 11 hours to go through, but I was hanging on every moment waiting to see what happened next. I went through on hard first and I'm going to start on Crushing tonight and get all of the treasures.

i just played it for the first time and played for 3.5 hours and am at chapter 8.

this is the best game i've ever played. it just flows so well and it was tough for me to put it down.

anyone saying these graphics are not good truly have some eye issues. this is the best looking game i've ever played.

oh, and the best part about uncharted 2?

NO SCREEN TEARING!!!!

Beat it in 2 days. Good game, but I'd never play it again. Not worth a purchase but worth a play through definitely

Someone tell me if its like the first one in the sense that you supposedly discover an area secret or extremely well hidden, but only to find bad guys already on the other side.

I hated that from #1. You'd have to complete some elaborate task, uncover a mystery area and the bad guys are already bet you to it.
Yes I realize you have to fight the bad guys that doesn't mean they can't come from behind and attack you.

Pretty much the entire game the bad guys are chasing you. So they almost always come from the path you already made.

It does retain my one major gripe from Uncharted 1.

Supernatural beings? Really? Come on, I was really getting into the story in the mountain levels and out pops this demon dog thing. Totally took me out of the game and made me remember I was holding a controller. All immersion ruined. Come on.

I finished it today on hard. Last battle was kind of a pain but overall this game was well worth the price for me. I'm probably going to beat it again on crushing after I blow my money on all these new games coming out soon.

Even for visuals? I disagree with that. Play it on a 1080p computer monitor and you'll see what I'm talking about. The visual effects and lighting are cool but overall it isn't 10/10.

Just finished the game and wow. One of the best games I have played since the first uncharted but better. I played on a 42 1080p LCD TV and visually it was outstanding(left mine at default 720p) one if not the best looking console games I've seen.

thilanliyan - have you tried setting your ps3 video output to all the choices(1080,720,480 all checked) that way it pics the best resolution for that game...which is usually its default it was rendered in.

Didn't play the first game? Also, this is pretty much a staple of the genre anyway. Think of all the Tomb Raider games or Indy movies. All have supernatural elements. Why people whine about this all the time with Uncharted is beyond me.

Got my copy yesterday. I'm not having as much fun as I did in the original game. I loved the first game, but I'm having a hard time getting into it. I'm in the Borneo level atm so maybe I will like it more as I play through.

The graphics are amazing though. The only problem I have is that sometimes you can see like white spots or lines around things. I think this happened with the 1st game too.

Just finished a 2 hour session, after a 5 hour marathon until 3am last night. It's been amazing so far, and the cinematic feel is very well done. Yes, all the AI partners are scripted, but it's great to be going through the game with someone that talks back and helps.

Graphics are amazing on a 720p plasma. It's much more immersive than the first Uncharted, and better paced. Claudia Black is just awesome as Chloe. Loved her in Pitch Black/Stargate/Farscape, so no surprise there.

It's not difficult to figure out - people complain about it because we don't like it. Are we supposed to pretend to like it just because it's in Tomb Raider too?

I wouldn't mind so much but the "supernatural" enemies always tend to be 10x more difficult than the human ones.

I'm a little farther into the game now and I'm starting to like it better.

Riot shield dudes are pissing me off though. How do you take them out, besides a grenade)?

not sure what you man about screen tearing, but I see white dots/lines around objects a lot.
Whatever it is, it's annoying.
