what do you use to cover up the wires in your house?

i'm gonna be running network wires from room to room and i was wondering if there was anything that i could buy to hide the wires?

hahah...I like the idea of cats too, but maybe big staples like in staple guns....and if you have carpet, you could slip it underneath the carpet

I ran mine under the house then just came up where ever I needed a plug....

carpet...u can fish the wires under it if its a short distance....but i had an idea that u can remove ur baseboard, cut a gouge inthe wall and hide wires there and cover it back up with baseboard... or just get wire casing...sometimes its a bit tacky looking to see it everywhere though. If u have an attic do it that way its the best..just fish it in and make outlets everywhere...

We ran our network lines right along the edge of the floor and over the doorjams. It is not the most hidden but it works well for an apt. because It does not leave permanent damage to the place.. and it does not look that bad either.

actually i'm renting the place.. so i dun wanna rip out stuff. i thought there was this type of colored covering that you can use to put over the wires and camouflage them.. but i'm not sure what they're called

The attic is the best choice, and dont be like me and put a hole in your ceiling when you miscalculate a step and punch one right in there and do a few grand in damage.

oh yeah and most of the covers for the wire at homedepot are just things with a sticky backing ..they also sell ones with screws...
