I will make it available if all international buyers will pay actual shipping costs.Does that seem fair?
(By the way,I don't take foreign currency,it must be USD.I sure wish I could though.I am jonesing to see a real euro dollar)LOL

I will get several polo shirts, a few hats, some T's and maybe even a tote or two.

I thought I was going to have to go clothes shopping, but you guys will save me the trouble.

tripleshot: The currency should be no problem since I've seen your plans to make payment by credit card available (mastercard ok with you? ) And that seems absolutely EXTREMELY fair Oh, BTW: do you have *any* idea aprox. what shipping would be?

I will ship UPS or Fedex, but sometimes just us mail is cheaper. This is something that is dependant on weight and size of package.I will see if I can ship freight collect. You pay for the merchandise and when it arrives, you pay then the exact shipping costs. Then no one is hurt or suspecious of shipping overcharges. The profit that is made(and yes there is a modest profit on each item)is to pay for doing the work to bring this service to you.We are not like Anandtech, receiving advertizing dollars to pay the bills. We must sell alot of merchandize as well, so I am hoping for good participation.

I will try and deliver everything within reason the members ask for.
That is my committment to this Forum.

to avoid issues over international shipping issues (i live in uk, and have just had something sent to me by a forums member so i looked into this), if you list an approx weight for each item, then you/us can just run it through the usps rate calculator.

fwiw usps appears to be the cheapest way to send internationaly

edit - it is quite common for smaller, specialist suppliers, 2cooltek springs to mind - to pack the customers order then take it to the post office to find out how much it is, then modify the order and charge it.

otoh, if your feeling really clever, you could run some weights through the rate calculator, and then incorporate those figures directly

I know that when I go to pricewatch and see set prices or whatever for freight, i can never understand why I should pay"$8.95 S/H" for 1 stick of ram.Thats why I want to be fair. What it cost to run it through the mail(I have a UPS account) should be born out by the recepient, and not profited by the vendor. I am paying already shipping from the factory. That is not passed on,that is absorbed in whatever margin there is in the sale. Yesterday I just negotiated embroidery fees from $5.00 to $3.00 per item and elimination of the setup charges.that is predicated on volume sales so I hope this goes over well.I think it will.
The quality is guarenteed on the garments. I am not yet ready to commit on the other items such as badges or bumper stickers, but if it isn't right,i will make it right.

This is new for all of us,so some trial and error is sure to be the watchword. That is why this is as open as can be managed. If we need to make adjustments along the way,it will be in best interest of the forum that will take highest priority.

for us international guys (i imagine there are quite a few in the uk) it might be worth putting in a bulk order as a group, then one of us does onward mailing here. i know it involves a fair degree of trust, it might cut costs dramatically - dunno if this is a good idea or not, but its worth considering

btw, im up for polo shirts, tee's and a cap

btw, what about TA mugs?

I'd be up for a mug and polo at least. I don't wear hats, but a tee or tote would be cool.

Case badges have been mentioned, what about mousepads?

I'm on it. I like all your ideas folks. Most of what you ask will be on the site available to purchase. We just need to select that logo design to run to the manufacturers. I am looking at suppliers for mugs now(I want Large mugs.I need MASS quantities of beverage)I have the mousepads now, just need to screenprint logo.

I'd be in for maybe a mug and case-badge, if I could pay by credit card (since I live in Canada).

Also for those of us in Canada, US Postal Service or US Global Priority would probably be the best. The reason is if the order is more than about 20 bux, UPS charges a horrendous brokerage fee, at least with their UPS standard shipping. UPS Express has a zero brokerage fee, but they cost as much as Fedex (expensive).

Thank you for the info.I have calls into my UPS rep now to get more info. Like I said before,I will not profit from shipping and I will send all items the best ,most cost effective way(Kinda like the way we like to build computers--best/cost effective)
