What does it mean if your hair looks better when you haven't washed it for a couple days?

I've been working so much lately that I haven't even cut my hair. (I usually cut it at least every 2-3 weeks, it grows fast) Perhaps I'll just let it go ape drape like for a while and see if the lady says anything. This thread so reminds me of that thread a year or two ago when everybody shaved their nuts and was recomending methods and whatnot. lol.

has anybody else got the slept-in creme? i got it, but it doesn't seem to do much other than make my hair a little greasy... i mean my hair does not get that messy look... just greasy. the hair stick for cool people on the other hand, i love that thing.

wax is kinda like gel but different - its good on short hair - makes it a little shiny and well it works similar to gel just doesnt dry out like gel does but also doesnt have this Turkishguy look like wetgel

A gelwax works best for me tho L'Oreal or Wella are good

Icky, I wouldnt let soap touch any other skin than my hands - soap totally dries out your skin and feels really itchy afterwards

yes thats the idea. when you take a shower only shampoo every other day or every 3 days and you will get teh desired effect. getting it wet dosent matter. You are just letting the natural oils stay in your hair which is actually better then washing it every day

Why buy all this stuff to put on your hair when you can just use the method above. Just wash it with warm water for two days and on the third day, used shampoo. The natural oil is good for your hair.

Some of us work out 4/5 days a week. If your shirt and hair is soaked in sweat you NEED to shampoo your hair everyday. If you don't, well, stay the fvck away from me.

This is a good thread. I also agree that my hair also looks very nice after a few days of not shampooing. When i do shampoo, my hair is wirey and looks like a furry mop.


I also get that nice hair feel after wearing a hat for a while. So here is teh formula: Shower, shampoo, dry hair, wear a cap for 2 hours, and then style hair.
