What does it take for Nam ng to be band?

This is the latest thread in which he contributes very little useful info and yet insults almost constently: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?start=1&catid=31&threadid=483945 (not so much from the start but later on in the thread).

This is indicitive of what Nam ng has posted in that thread:

Nam ng: "Don't bother me Teasy... I do not have much regard nor want to converse with you."

PotNoodle: "Shame. You are on a public forum. If you don't want to converse, then ignore"

Nam ng: "Some with basic courtesy, manners simply complied.

"dumb-fvcks with attitude and no manners" do not, very understandable."

Is this the sort of thing we have to be subjected too in this forum (its certainly NOT the norm for Anandtech). I like to have a logical fact based discussion here yet Nam isn't interested in facts or discussing anything, he's merely interested in mainly repeating the words "stupid", "idiot", "dumb", and "fvck", oh and I mustn't forget one of his favs "ignorant" over and over again.

I beleive he's already been warned, now what?

Teasy: "Awww, whats the matter Nam? You don't like being proved wrong then? As PotNoodle says this is a public forum, either admit your wrong to save face, leave the forum or simply ignore me, whichever you prefer."

Yet more abuse.

A lot of flame fanning going on in that thread, no way can you blame it on a single person.

My advice, just ignore it. By responding to him and question him your mearly goding him on.

Look in OT and you'll find Nam ng is pretty mild compared to some that get off without even a warning

Nam ng just has a really big issue with anyone that is fond of the Kyro.
Well that and the fact that he tends to post his opinions as facts and if anyone disagrees with him and wishes to inquire as to the evidemce behind his opinions his usual statement is along the lines of his not having enough time to explain the obvious to idiots.

All the same, I don't care much for his attitude usually but I don't think he's done quite enough to need be banned for.

Everyone is responsible for there own actions and should be able to keep themselves calm enough as not to start vigerously insulting people. No matter how much &quot;flame fanning&quot; went on it gives no one the right to use that sort of offensive behaviour IMO. Unless he's merely reacting to similar offensive behaviour (which he's not) in which case all people involved should be warned IMO.

No offence at all Rand but isn't that a strange attitude to take? Someone is being thoroughly offensive instead of discussing the point at hand and instead of being repremanded people should merely back off and let him do what he wants? Thank god the authorities like the police don't do it this way.

Surely this forum has some rules about offensive behaviour? I mean its fair enough if you loose it once in a while but Nam is always like this whenever his opinion is challanged. Plus he's already been warned for this very behaviour.

So what would you say does warrant banning? And before someone says &quot;well if he's band then why not IronDuke&quot; thinking that I favour him because of his PowerVR posts then IMO I don't know why IronDuke hasn't been banned yet. And again IMO he should be warned and then banned if he keeps it up (just like Nam), really what does it take for someone to be banned around here?
