I have held the hand of a dying man yet he rejoiced in the knowledge of an end to his pain. I have held a greeving mother at the death of her infant. I have seen the fear and the release at the thought of death. I realize that it is loss that makes us weep, when we cannot accept that we are left behind.

I laugh so much I cry when I read your pathetic posts.

A perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black.

Schneider, have you seen what you've been posting lately? Get off of Trident's case ... your posts are unique to say the least.

My posts are just too manly for you, dud. The level of testosterone I give off (even through the internet) is fucking ridiculous, it scares away most other males and attracts females in droves.

General frustration, usually school related. I think that I cry after my first day of lab every semester, and often cry after bad grades.

When a very close one dies, usually at the funeral if somebody says something that really touches me about that person, or I see a certain picture or something else triggers it. The death itself usually does not make me cry, only very sad of the situation but certain things about the death will trigger me to cry.

I also sometimes cry if I see something really sad on TV or in a movie, but mostly if it's something real and not fiction. I saw a SPCA commercial the other day showing neglected pets and I actually cried. The commercial worked, because I got up right after and donated $50. Animal related abuse/deaths often make me cry and make me more emotional than humans, I can't really explain why.

I saddens me to think that one day my cat will pass away. My parents lost my previous cat when I lived there and I was very sad, but don't think I cried. There was a glimpse of hope that we'd find her again. We never did, but at least I knew there was a decent chance she was probably alive, but it still bugged me a lot not knowing for sure if she was in a good home, or alone. To this day I still don't know if she's alive or dead.

i get tears of joy alot, however for the sadness ones... when i think about how if i'd been a better person the mother of my kids would probably still be with me, and we'd be a family...

but.. i cant change the past, i've made peace.. or something like it with that part of my life..

How old are you? Not saying there is an age at which this is or is not appropriate, more that I didn't picture you in school.

I used to cry a certain amount back when I was younger going to school. super depressed and anxious but didn't really know why, just knew I fucking hated my life. I don't cry much anymore, though I'm still depressed, except at the endings of sad films, books and the like.

Typical college age. If I gave an exact number you could track down my identity.

(Do I come off as a wise, aged man? ^_^)

EDIT: I also cry about the cheesiest of drama on television. Recently I saw a bit of a deaf man-child drinking soup things to find a secret message or something in The Amazing Race (my parents were watching and the kitchen looks over into the TV room), and he was crying completely out of his mind, frustrated that he was holding his "team" (him and mom) back. After a bazillion tries he finally got the right one and all the friendly Indian people picked him up and everyone was cheering, and I cried. In fact, I'm tearing up again. Sometimes I think that I have sociopathic elements but then I cry over happy endings to sad stories and realize that I'm just an emo.

You've mentioned you are gay before. Perhaps that's part of it? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Opening the box in the morning, only to find that I've run out of Froot Loops.
