What does .PDF take so long to load?

Well, adobe is a hateful entity and I personal recommend they all burn in hell.

Adobe got hideously bloated for a while, but as mentioned Acrobat 8 is much thinner. Still foxit is much easier to deal with, although I have encountered a few situations where greek symbols printed wrong

I used to believe that. Then I got some PDF's that were illegible. :|

Acrobat pro 8.0 opens fine but I can see where it would be painful on a slower system these days. There's a way to make the real thing open fast BUT it's just skipping those plugins and when you need one - OOOPSIEDAISY! :Q

The scrolling is my biggest issue with acrobat. It really gets out of control when the Revolution mouse loses its gear in supersling mode and you have to wait for things to catch up. So I wind up giving the acrobat a big fat salmon slap from mister task mangler and start over. sigh
