Just noticed, am I the only person to use folders on my home screen to keep all my shortcuts in?
I would leave a screeny but most of my pages have widgets with personal stuff in.
I use circle launcher on side screens myself. Similar yet diff.
Sms unread count is one that does that.
where do you get themes at? all i have found is an app to download wallpaper
i'm just a noob, but I think "themes" for android are basically packaged in with various launchers.
I have seen in the XDA forums--go with your specific phone--that members are developing icon packages, but I'm not sure if those need to be used with specific launchers, or not.
The easiest to theme launcher IMO is Go Launcher EX. It has dozens of user submited themes and that includes replacing most icons. Super easy to change the themes too.
Not perfect as the epic touch doesn't have many themes yet. I want to remove my battery icon soon and a few other changes.

AH. Everyone seems to talk about it and praise it, but the images I see ont he market are all of rainbows and ridiculous bullshit, so I keep avoiding it.

I have like 2 folders that keep the most used shortcuts. one is for games and another one for apps that don't have widgets implemented. There was a folders app that I was using, but it kept crashing on me so I had to stop. I'm not a fan of how limited the built in folder functionality is either.

Can't change anything about the folders. Can't change the color or icon, can't change the # of apps that show up on each folder "screen", can't change the background of the opened folder, etc. I don't know if it's a limitation of the launcher (Go launcher EX) or my rom but it's kind of a bummer.

try circle launcher. I picked it up the other day when it was Amazon's free ap of the day. I haven't messed around with it too much, but it does offer a nice deal of variety to how folders operate and allows a lot of customization with the folder icon.
Does simifolder work for you or is that the one that crashes?
I tried GO Launcher for a while, decided to go back to ADW EX.
