Bumping old screenshot thread. What's everyone got going on these days?
That's pretty original. Did you use Desktop Visualizer and some other simple text widgets for the clock?

Desktop Visualizer and Chronotopia. Chronotopia is a huge pain.
Not perfect as the epic touch doesn't have many themes yet. I want to remove my battery icon soon and a few other changes.
you guys should check out www.mycolorscreen.com, lets people post up their homescreens along with links to the apps/widgets used.
I just have one homescreen with folders for my most-used apps. I can never keep multiple homescreens straight.
Nice! What weather widget is that? Do want!
Looks like the weather widget from Beautiful Widgets. You can change the theme for the weather icons and background, which is what he did from the looks of it.
I like the icons.
What theme/launcher is that??
Exactly. The weather skin I'm using is called Vos Flat White and the clock skin is called ICEE s, although sometimes I just turn the background off if I'm using a darker wallpaper.
Beautiful Widgets is great, I really like the 4x1 weather-only widget because I don't like having two clocks on my home screen (one in a widget, one in the notification bar). Some people go so far as to remove the clock from the notification area, but then you can't see the time unless you're on the home screen.
I guess the great thing about Android is you can customize all this stuff to fit whatever aesthetic you like!
Thanks! It really is beautiful. I just wish it was 4x2 because the icons and text look too small on my Asus Transformer tablet. But it's awesome when I tap on it I get an instant full screen weather forecast with a lot of details and animations.
Now to put it on my DroidX phone. Do I have to pay for it again for the phone? This is the first time I've ever decided to get the same app for phone and tablet.
Just sign in to the same Google account on your phone as you use on your Transformer and all the same paid apps will be marked as purchased.
I haven't found a great weather widget for tablets yet. Something with really big, pretty artwork that can take up a significant portion of a tablet screen. Beautiful Widgets does have 4x2, 4x3, and 5x2 clock + weather widgets, but they really aren't any better than the 4x1 weather for tablets. I have a Kindle Fire and the 4x1 weather widget looks tiny on the screen.
Beautiful Widgets is just a normal app download... I don't know why you're hesitant to get it. It does cost money but only a small amount.Mine is lame. I wish there was a way to remove the time from the top bar, it seems like unnecessary duplication to have a big clock on your homepage too. Even though it looks cool. I see I definitely need a cool new weather widget though. Who can suggest the nicest one that doesn't require a new launcher or beautiful widgets or anything, just the nicest widget you can get from normal app download?
