I have an honest question for people, why do you waste space on your main screen with a clock widget when both the lockscreen and the status bar have a clock in them? It's one of the first things I get rid of on android.

That clock is bigger, easier to see. I just want my lock screen to be a giant clock, that makes it easy to get the time with the single press of a button.

Also some of those widgets have other smaller info around the clock so it can actually be a very efficient use of space. Weather is the most common, but sometimes alerts or events.

These are the two reasons I'd say. You can take one row (4x1) and have your clock, weather, and other info and have tap shortcuts that take you to things like alarm or forecasts or any other app. It can make your interface more efficient.

That One More Clock Widget lets you set tons of shortcuts. Too many to keep track of to be honest.

Haven't got everything sorted out just yet. The widgets screen is kind of the way I want it, but the second one isn't. Still making/finding icons for all those apps.

Is that beautiful widgets?

One More Clock Widget Free. Chrome rings is the name of the theme I use.

I like it cause the time is prominent and is the thing I look at most when glancing at the phone, the weather is there, and a very easy to see battery indicator.

I use HD widgets on my TF700 though.

Something like this.

Main screen on my Note, the background is an active background called "Galactic Core Free", I like it a lot! The weather widget is Android Weather (it's free also):

Battery usage:

Phone info screen (it's a customer JB rom, hence the tablet mode UI):

I have no idea how to share a picture.

Most phones have a key to long press or key combination that initiates a screen shot. If not there are tons of apps like "ScreenshotER" which give you options to take screenshots.

You can then share it in a variety of ways. I just used Google Drive.

I am guessing people use screenshot apps. But I have no idea what. I dont think its been mentioned yet in the thread.

Some roms have that function built in. On mine if I press power + volume down it saves the screen. On another rom it was power + home
