Motion Man is/was my fraternity nickname. I got it because I was one of the few people in the chapter (which I started as a freshman) who knew Robert?s Rules of Order, so I was one of the only people who could properly bring motions at meetings.

(At least that?s the explanation my ?brothers? and I tell my wife. That is only half the story. The whole truth would probably violate some sort of rule regarding adult content. )

Ironically, I am a lawyer and spend a great deal of my time dealing with legal motions.
