we went to win 7, 3 years ago, and I think for a while we had shoehorned IE6 into win 7 because IE 8 was not approved yet

I think we are on 8 or 9 now for general installs

Because my boss let me go home early last night (after the non-fire evacuation destroyed my knee), I came in this morning to find a formerly iced coffee now warm and gross and stinking up my cubicle.

(the fire turned out to be a few blocks away, but someone in the building smelled smoke, panicked, and pulled the alarm precipitating the evacuation)

The start of my weekend was delayed because an asshat coworker decided to add his personal life philosophy and unsupported conjectures to what was supposed to be a technical review. I had to go back and scrub the garbage out of his review. Eight pages became one page when the bullshit was deleted. Then I had to explain to his/my boss how the coworker's bullshit was bullshit. The bastard had the gall to request OT to complete his review.

I had to stay late, unpaid, for 30 minutes to respond to a silly email from the head of my group (basically my bosses bosses boss) about how they can improve our workers work performance. Yet Im not even a supervisor (who the email was directed too) but am standing in as one temporarily yet was told i still had to do it....15 minutes before i was supposed to leave.

Thanks to that i had to sit in traffic for 30 minutes extra (normally get out early to beat traffic). Got to close to the rental car return place and the gas gauge had one bar gone so i had to stop for gas...all $3 dollars of it to fill the tank so i wouldnt get charged their outrageous $9 a gallon for not coming in full charge.

But i got a better car then i had so cant complain to much i suppose

My new bass drum pedal spring cam rings came in and I forgot to bring home a specific metric allen wrench from the shop to put them on right.

Oh well, the old ones haven't broken through yet.

I missed the first 15 minutes of a TV show and I'm pissed at myself because it was on again in the morning, which I planned to watch, but I missed the first bit again and didn't record it. Now if I can watch it at all, it'll be crappy online on demand streamed.

My health plan switched my HSA to Citibank. Holy f$%& does Citi suck. I understand the burning hatred people have for them and I've only been dealing with Citi for 15 minutes.

1) Call to activate debit card. Enter card number. Pretty standard, no problem.
2) Change PIN from default which is totally insecure (last four numbers on card). Have to call a separate telephone number and re-enter card number. Lame but not terrible.
3) Call customer service to get routing and actual account number tied to debit card so I can re-direct HSA contributions to the new account. God damn "Please say" phone tree. People need to be shot over those things. Anyway, there is no way to get through the phone tree to an actual human being w/o the account number Citi never provided. Fuck Citi.

Clipped out a Subway coupon that said free 6 inch with a purchase of a drink; go in, guy says it's actually a free 6 inch with the purchase of a 6 inch + drink. Darn bait and switch. What leads me to believe it wasn't just a simple printing error was that there were three little coupons of the free 6 inch with purchase of 6 inch + drink ones on the back that were good for the full month of April. But the one I clipped was on the back and took up half the page, was only a single one on the flyer, and was good only until 14th. Leads me to believe it was the main draw.
