just lately, the cleaning lady is a relatively new development in my life (hired her to keep the place tidy while I'm recovering from knee surgery)

she only comes once/week (on Tuesdays)... expect my problems to go down after this week, since I'm returning to work and will no longer be home while she's here.

first day back in the office since April... my ass hurts from sitting down so much. at home, I always had reasons to get up regularly (check on the cat, answer the door for UPS, checkout some commotion in the street outside, etc).

gotta set an alarm for myself now that I'm back at work to get up and take a walk every half hour.

The news is just terrible year-round. The political BS happens to be current, so they'll milk that for as long as possible. If it's not political, it's about fatal car accidents, shootings, police brutality, houses exploding from gas lines, tornadoes destroying towns, etc. Maybe one 'feel good' story a week if you're lucky. It's so depressing. I've opted out of having the news on at any time of day because of this. Now it's usually 24/7 ESPN

My power just went out, and I had my i7 machine turned on (on same ups as this one) and I shut it down to save battery power and stupid windows updates kicked in. I probably have to go to bed now as I wont have enough battery power for the workstations.

How the hell do they put out so many freaking updates anyway? Every time I blink that machine has more updates.

The refresh/blue strip on my Mach 3 is gone.

I shaved my head with a Mach 3 for the first time in 5 years. Holy shit, it's so smooth. Can't stop touching it. I usually just hair clipper it down with a 000. Last time I tried it, I had somewhat long hair so it kept jamming the blade and pulling. Just clipped it yesterday so it was super easy today. Hope it stays this way even as the blade blunts.

My moonwalking Stormtrooper phone wallpaper for the lockscreen hid the pin-pad somewhat because the numbers are the same colour as the Stormtrooper so I had to go with a darker lockscreen image.

I suggest picking up a drug habit. Then, depending on what your drug of choice happens to be, you can spend all day watching cartoons, picking at the spiders under your skin or sleeping 14-16 hours per day.
