My moonwalking Stormtrooper phone wallpaper for the lockscreen hid the pin-pad somewhat because the numbers are the same colour as the Stormtrooper so I had to go with a darker lockscreen image.

:'(

Good UI design would have a thin, dark border outlining the light text to avoid that problem.

I like to take Friday night to myself to unwind and relax rather than do anything or see anyone, but sometimes it makes me feel guilty and antisocial.

Home phone, landline phone batteries can't really hold a charge anymore and since proprietary batteries would be $20+, I'm going to get a new phone set for $60 that supposedly uses regular AAAs... I have like 5 options in my third-world country.

Went to eat at a brand new just opened chicken place and I ordered 1 chicken sandwich, fries, and 1 small drink. The total bill was almost $9 ($8.81 exact).

Since when fast food is getting closer to $10 USD per meal? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Our cordless phones use rechargeable AAA's and the stupid things arent charging properly after 8 years. I tried putting in my own and they dont charge properly either.

WTF?

I was just laying in bed, and it dawned on me I didn't remember putting the hotdogs I bought in the freezer. After tearing the freezer apart, looking in the fridge, the box I brought groceries home in, and the cabinets(!), I found them in the truck after my second trip out there...

Do you suppose they're still edible? They were out there for ~10 hours, much of which was 90F+ heat. They're still factory sealed, and they're barely meat anyway... It's only crappy 80¢ Aldi hotdogs, but I don't like losing stuff due to my carelessness. They're in the freezer now. I guess I need to decide how brave I am...

Risk food poisoning to save 80 cents - great ROI there

The nitrates in hot dogs keep them preserved almost indefinitely.

That's what I'm thinking. The package wasn't bloated or anything... I bet they get treated just as poorly at many stores, and people eat them without issue.

Read these battery reviews. I don't know what's going on but some people with a similar problem said only low self-discharge batteries worked. Not my fault if you fuxxorz anything, I've never had the problem.

Oh ya, I went to BB and their website said they had my DSLR battery in stock. No dice. So I blew my giftcard on iTunes gift cards...

Opened my new landline phone... Everything smooth until I took the wall wart/cord out of two bags. Got some nasty semi-sticky crap on my hand. Maybe it was grease, my money's on it being plasticizer because there wasn't any adhesive on the bags as far as I could tell.

A couple weeks ago I went BB. First time in over 10 years. They literally had nothing I was interested in, and the stock was probably 10% of what it used to be, just spread out to take up more space. Not sure what they can do to be profitable, but if my store's an example of all, that isn't it.

Honestly I have bought a ton from BestBuy recently. They are desperate for sales so often they will match an Amazon price for an on sale item without asking. Then I find that item via eBay (BB sells almost all its stuff also en Ebay) and buy it there. That way I get BB reward points AND eBay bucks. When it's a 4x eBay buck deal I get more back than I can lose in taxes making BB downright cheapest option.

That probably isn't profitable for them, but I plan to ride them into oblivion.

Na, there was only one piece of tape in the entire box and it was masking tape holding the battery bag shut. I was tempted to sniff it to figure out what it was but decided to just wash it off. Maybe it was something on the cable twist-tie.

They still have a reasonable camera and home theater selection, then there's the Samsung + Windows + Apple mini-stores. Their in-store appliance selection, outside of Dyson vacuums, is pretty pathetic though. I prefer not to buy electronics from Amazon for ease of exchange and so I can avoid it going through the postal/courier system one extra time.

Damn it. I Bic'd my head -- it was a Mach3 actually -- and just found out I missed a spot when feeling it up. Surprise, it's on the left side -- no soy persona izquierda maño.

And the batteries in my slow charger aren't charging quickly...

The grocery store did not have the cilantro I needed to make lunches for the week. I had to make the recipe without cilantro. I might as well eat dirt.

Our Future Shop just got converted to Best Buy. It's basically the same store. Its one of those places I might go if I'm really stuck but I hate buying anything there knowing I'm getting ripped off. Especially cables.

I wish there would be a chain store that was more like Tigerdirect or NCIX where they actually sell more variety and at a decent price. It would be nice to actually be able to buy computer parts and accessories locally.

New landline phone is lighter and smaller than the old one... the base moves too easily. Where are my 50 lb of tubes and other metals to hold it in place?

Stopped at Walmart to get some ice cream, and their freezer's always dicked up. It doesn't properly dehumidify, and everything, including the glass gets frost on it. That makes it hard to see, and I don't want to stand there with the door open cause it's wasteful. Anyway, I wanted Ben & Jerrys Peanut Buttah, but grabbed Salted Caramel Core by mistake, and didn't realize it til I got home. I had that last week :^(

I just opened the bag of Berry Skittles I got from Best Buy... They kind of suck. I usually love these. Dafuq?

Oh, and every time I open Steam, I see the graphic for Blitzkrieg 2 with a blonde who looks like Taylor Swift -- seriously, that totally looks like her.
