I still haven't seen the Force Awakens. Thinking about seeing it tomorrow at the nicer theater that's close, but all the showings at 80% full already and the only seats left are crappy. Wednesday is the same. Thursday is 95% full.

Might have to go to the crappy theater that's a bit of a drive. That was the original plan over the weekend but I ended up not going.

Were you frustrated from losing the argument?

Long, complicated history...

So in other words, the guy didn't learn anything and he can touch you however he wants and get away with due to your fears of assault charges. You sure told him.

You son of a bitch, you are correct...

New problem. I spent 3 hours going through my closet, taking pictures of everything to try to sell at fire-sale prices -- maybe $5 or less each. I could donate it all but no?

got an email that UPS delivered a small package to me on the 18th...never found it on my porch...I look through my security cam footage (kinda of expecting to see someone swipe it and run) but the camera captures the UPS truck pulling up in front of my house but the driver never walks the package to my door. Since he never shows up in the footage (only the back end of the UPS truck is captured), I can't tell what house he delivered it to.

I called Kohl's and they refunded my order and put in a replacement order. The CS rep was kind enough to give me 30% off and free shipping on the new order (I didn't even bother to tell her the original order had 30% off and a free shipping coupon applied to it.

I can't stop buying expensive bottles of bourbon and scotch. I have like 40 bottles now and I just picked up another bottle (this time pappy 20 year old). It's the strangest alcohol addiction I know of.
It sounds like you might have a drinking problem. Either that or a very strange kind of OCD. Especially if you're just collecting these things and not really drinking them. That's not meant to be an insult. I used to have and still do to some extent, have pretty bad OCD. It can express itself in some very odd and unique ways.

My first world problem is parking spaces. I have what is probably considered a compact car (civic) - maybe subcompact. If I pull into the center of a space and still have to tuck myself in and out of the car, what do people with real cars do? I guess sunrooves (roofs?) are popular for a reason.

if he had a drinking problem he wouldn't have 40 bottles. He'd have 2 - one in his hand and one hidden away somewhere in case his friends take the one in his hand away.

Sounds like he has a drinking problem. He isn't drinking his scotch fast enough...

I tried to use the auto start on my car but it never works well on warm days, so when I got to my car it was stuck in an infinite fail loop, probably doing l lot of damage to the starter while simultaniously killing the battery. I had to open and close the driver side door 3 times, then I was able to manually start it.

I should probably get that checked. Will start at 30 below no problem, but when it's warm, it's a 50/50 chance that it will do this.

Gotta find a way to post about 50 pieces of clothing on Craigslist for sale.

I would also be surprised if someone bought them...

I don't think there's much point to that. You're basically going after the Goodwill store crowd with something like that.

Of course if you have a lot of designer/fashion label stuff that is still current (or very old), that's a different story. But I have a hard time believing that people shop for clothes on CL.

I know, but I can't just give it away!!! I don't need the money, it's the principle.

It took like a year to sell a J.Crew bag. I got one hit on a tailored, 3-button suit I wore twice... because I needed a suit for job interviews?

Speaking of wet, it was raining last night so everything is wet this morning but at least the rain stopped and it is cloudy here. Not sure if it will rain again later. Hopefully not because I have to go to the mall to use the coupons before Christmas.

Right!

But seriously, it's about collecting. I buy rare and expensive whiskey and I typically only drink when friends are over. For me it's about sharing the experience. So that rare 21 year old scotch or 23 year old pappy is only satisfying to me when I can watch someone try it for the first time and relive that wonder and excitement you get when you try something new.

On top of that is the secondary market which allows me to get quite a return on bottles should I need some quick liquid cash.

You my neighbor? lol

He works as a whisky distributor and has like 100+ bottles in his collection.

How did you get your hands on the pappy? Inquiring minds want to know?

I know someone who collects liquor.

He fishes them out of dumpsters while collecting liquor bottles to sell. He doesn't drink any of it, just hoards it. Even keeps it all in a brightly lit -- by sunlight -- room.

I don't completely understand why people would throw out unopened bottles of liquor. Did one bottle break in a six pack?

I want to get a cast iron deep skillet for frying shit, but I don't know if it's deep enough at 3".

It looks like a dutch oven at 4" would be better but that thing is like twice the size and weight.
