19F where I was working today. Toasty warm with the sun out actually. Still have tonight to deal with...
Gonna have to move all this to the First World Triumph thread. Another successful night of not hanging from a beam like a piñata. It was so cold I didn't have time to fixate on being 30' off the ground, and it kept my ass moving. Got it done in record time, and the only snag was on one beam, the ironworkers had an air hose lashed to the cable, and a place I had to disconnect to get around it was right over a splice plate. These were particularly narrow splices, so you had to walk inline between the bolts. I wasn't feeling graceful enough for that, so I got coming the other way. I wish they all went this well.
Another hour or so of paperwork, and I get to go home til Tues. Unless I decide to take off since I got fucked out of my vacation today.
edit:
Oh, and it ended up being 9° on site. My legs were pretty cold.
