I didn't go to the shooting range yesterday based on the misconception the gate card had expired January 1st (and I don't have my new membership card yet). Turns out they change the code Super Bowl Sunday. GODDAMNIT. The weather had warmed up a bit from the freezing insanity, I wasn't on-call for work, no parents visiting, the range was open and not hosting/closed for something. My furnace blower is starting to do a crap ton of racket near the end of a heat cycle. I think I need to clean and rebalance it. It's kind of a pain to do. Even the duct cleaner guys did not want to do it when I got my ducts cleaned.

I just modified the code for my hvac control so it does not equalize the delta temp anymore, just so it can shut the blower off earlier. I had it set so that it would keep the blower going till the temp equalizes so that the heat that is still in the ducts is not "wasted". But really it comes up to the same in the end I guess, it's still in the house.

Today is the last day to get the 50% off from Pizza Hut and I do not want to pick it up but office hour is about to end and I do not want to give out the entry code to the Pizza Hut delivery driver. I guess I will have to get up and dot it myself later.

For me, I got into work before everyone else today. I put the coffee maker on and then got involved in some work and waited about 20 minutes before coming back to the coffee and in that time everyone else had drunk it all and no one bothered to make more, so I had to make a second batch.

I think I got my temporary mining rig working, but my GTX 750 Ti is not good enough to mine ethereum apparently. So now I have to wait for my 1070 to come in. I was hoping to at least get started with that card so I can confirm my setup works.

If this ends up working out for me I will have to try to source out more cards but they are so hard to get due to a global shortage.

Had a nightmare last night. I was in a cool old rickety haunted house that had a lot of gas fired flaming things. I turned them off, and would re enter a room to find them on again. The whole thing had a malevolent vibe. Problem? I was trying to communicate to the spirit, but could only make retarded noises. Like my mouth and vocal cords were frozen. Problem two is I woke up, and didn't really have a cool old haunted house. Life sucks :^(

So I cancelled my TV and home phone the other day since I don't use them enough and figured I'd save money. I save about $50/mo. Not much, but it's still enough that it's worth it.

Got a letter in the mail from my city as I do each time around this year. Taxes are going up by $50/mo. Didn't get the one for water yet, that's more than likely going up too. i already pay $100/mo.

I need to find a place and go live off grid. It's ridiculous how everything keeps going up. I sat down and figured it out once, and it's about 10% per year.

Normally, snow days are great. I get the day off and still get paid. BUT, I've got our Superbowl event coming up on the 20th and I was supposed to get supplies today. 550 people to feed and I can only get delivery on Monday and Thursday. Next Monday is MLK day and we're closed again. That leaves next Thursday to get all the supplies and prep for the 20th. I guess it's a first world problem. I'm sooo screwed.

Sigh... I expected to receive the ddr4 -3200 ram modules this week that i ordered last month. Turns out that i have to wait another 24 workdays.
They are sold out everywhere.
Normally i always buy everything at once, that way when it is not working, i can make use of the immediate return policy.
Now i have just started buying the other components i need and hope for the best.
To be honest, it only happened to me once that something was defective.

Hot here too. I had to take off a couple shirts today. I only left my acu jacket on cause I needed the pockets. I'd have been fine with a tshirt. It was warmer outside than it is in my house :^/ Supposed to be warmer still tomorrow, but it's gonna rain(Where's my fuckin' snow?!), so I won't have to work in it. After that, temps should drop. A little better Sat, and much better Sun.

I'm gettin P.O.'d about my dang vape setup. I have an eLeaf iStick 50W battery/mod and a Innokin iSub G tank (with the regular iSub Replacement Coils, 0.5 ohm). I just got the tank/coils after wanting to try out sub-ohm vaping again.

Well I like it over the >1 ohm vaping, you can actually taste the juice (I still think it's a weak taste but whatevs). Anyway these coils have lasted like 6 days a piece so far! I guess that's normal? Maybe not? Seems wayyyyy too short, I mean come on! It's not like I'm sucking on the thing 24/7 either; I go through about 4.5 mL juice/day, about a tank or slightly over. But sub-ohm vaping tears through the juice, I don't vape any more than I did before moving to sub-ohm but I'm using way more juice. My last coils (basic ones for the Aspire Nautilus) lasted a month.

Meh. And so... FML
