Ten days into onwership of a (used) QX50 and less than three hours driven, flat tire cuz of a screw on the road. That makes one blown tire on highway due to road debris and two screw punctures in six months.

Maybe I should install big magnets before and after the wheelwell.

My father was stationed in Los Alamos during WWII, and he said they cleared the blast area with an electromagnet on the front of a vehicle before(I think) testing. You could also make a fuel-free car...

No, it is because you bought a QX50.

At the checkout counter at the grocery store, the cashier asked if I wanted my bottle of dish soap in a bag. I said yes but the bagger didn't put it in a bag.

 it's a wifemobile.

Or are you saying screws on road are smart targeting?

I do have to say whoever designed the UI should be shot. Fucking three thousand buttons that make zero sense.

In theory if that was a small crane and it dropped the magnet on the ground, and the magnet has a good grip on the pavement, it would pull the car towards it and not pull itself towards the car. So if you can have the crane pick it back up before they stick, and then move it forward and drop it again, you could then have perpetual motion.

I need to patent this.

I'm really tempted to go find whatever vet botched my cat's spaying and bolt a pair of headphones to his head with yowling on loop 24/7. It's starting to make me crack mentally...

If it turns out he botched the job, can you get him to fix it, or get a rebate? Girls are expensive to fix. Wouldn't want to do it twice.

My girl's still eating a little, but she's getting better at resisting the pills and vitamins. This is turning into a real pita

I'm not sure how that works. My friend who gave me that cat had it done in June of 2016. There may be a warranty period

Either way, it's just insane how loud and relentless the yowling is. I'm ready for some bionics which will let me turn my hearing off at night. lol

But what would you use to drive/power the crane?

Went cat food shopping today. Christ there's a lot of different kinds, even from the same brand. The selection rivaled the frozen food at walmart. I wish Amys had the selection Fancy Feast has...

Every time I look up info on Burn Notice I end up learning too much. I've spoiled about half the major plot twists. Kinda kills the fun.

Oh, if anyone wants to watch Burn Notice on Netflix I recommend they start soon. Its disappearing on Feb. 15th.

I love that show. Sucks it's getting pulled from Netflix.

The cat is still in heat, but having the patio door open (it's 72F outside) seems to calm her down. She just looks out the screen and quietly sniffs.

I've been cold all weekend. It's the warmest weekend in a long time, and I feel like I have a constant chill. I built a fire, and now I'm starting to feel hot :^/

Drove to the car wash today and all three bays were backed up about six cars deep, so I had to go to a different one that doesn't use the blowers anymore because of noise complaints.

I think I actually fractured my sternum from a sneeze once as it always hurts there now when I sneeze. I was lying in bed on my side and had to sneeze and it was super painful and I actually felt a crack. It's been sensitive there since. I know not to sneeze on my side anymore. If I'm in bed I find it's best to just sit up before it hits.

I finished calculating my fed and state tax returns but have to wait until next week for the IRS to open free fillable forms and the state to publish it's fillable forms. If I send in paper forms instead it will take even longer to get my money back. I knew what the fed taxes were back in December but had to wait for the W-2 and 1099s to come in.
