The inside of my left nostril has been feeling really sore and dry lately, so I shined an LED flashlight up there and the light got into my eyes, so now I'm seeing spots.

The competitor is anything else. I live adobe free. Their shitware isn't welcome on my systems.
I tried to scan my class notes into Elements 15 for another student and it took about a minute to start up and it was like some weird social media platform and was harassing me into buying a new version. Such garbage.

There was this company called Polaris I think where you run your hot water tank like a boiler and then use that hot water for house heating through a rad and a blower.

Navian has some too.

You could use any water heater, but if the loops are separate it's less risky as you don't have all that piping running at full water pressure.

Huh? It's just from the water tank to the heat exchanger, like two meters of piping.

When is the internet stable and when not , that is the question. Samsung has Smart View an app that engages wifi to display selected computer folders on the smart TV and the TV then allows multimedia content to be selected and played . Typically I d/l movies and play them on TV. A very yes setup.(Used to be, I had to burn a dvd and drag the disk into the dvd player by the (non smart) TV to play the movies. Now just run Smart View and hit play).
But occasionally SV will not find the TV even though wifi is working just fine for phones and the ethernet connection continues to blaze away.Wifi is good, ethernet is good but samsung tech says the internet is unstable resulting in Smart View's inability to find the TV.
A reboot of the modem fixes an invisible error.Damn, life was so better back when.

I'm talking if you were to use a regular water heater vs ones that have a separate boiler connections, it would be shared with house pressure, and all the heat loops would be under pressure all the time, it would increase the risk of something going wrong. Was just saying that it CAN be done that way (vs paying for more expensive heaters made for it) but it's a higher risk. Unless of course you use a completely separate water heater in a closed loop then that's a different story.

Adobe software just keeps getting worse and worse. I really wish they had a proper competitor.

I don't get how they can screw up something as simple (or at least that should be simple) as a read only document format. Like how many freaking updates does Adobe PDF need before they finally fix all the bugs? Why is there even so many bugs in something that should be simple?

I personally avoid their crap too. The only thing that they make that is good is Photoshop. Gimp does not even come close. I try to mostly use Gimp but there's a lot of features I miss, like being able to put outlines, embossing etc on text. The workflow in Photoshop is better too. At least the older versions like 6, if I recall when I tried a newer version it felt really bloated.

I clicked on this thread and it went to the first post instead of going to first unread message.

I want to troll my boss with cat facts sms, but it's so much work to do it right. There needs to be a one click cat facts troll site.

Debating making a fire. It's kinda warm and rainy today; ~48°, and I have the door open to let in outside air. That makes it a little chilly. Making a fire would feel good, but would be wasteful. Not sure what to do :^/

My Sam Smith beer's done, and I don't have anymore :^( Might get a glass of Ardbeg. Either that, or a couple hotdogs and kraut. Not sure yet...

Didn't rinse my glass out, poured some Redbreast Irish, and it tastes like Ardbeg. Not the worst thing in the world, but not what I paid for. Might be a good way to save money going forward. An Islay whisky, followed with a cheap blend. Should make the good stuff last twice as long.

Got an old shoe box to put in the stove, but the cat decided she likes it. Since she's a princess, she gets what she wants, and I have a box on the floor...

My LiFePO4 battery charger only works with the cord positioned a certain way. This suggests to me that the cord is shot and ready to start a fire or that the solder where the cord connects is shot and ready to start a fire. Now I have to open it up and replace the cord without starting a fire. I suppose I should unplug it first though using the AC power to melt the solder might be easier than getting out the solder gun.
