Holy crap that's 45C. I felt 39C once when I was down south in Toronto area, and it was insanely brutal. I don't know how people live in that kind of heat on a daily basis. That's pretty much stay inside and shove face in front of AC vent weather.

Edit: It isn't really that bad here today, currently 98 Freedom degrees on the front porch. We're catching outflow from a distant thunderhead that is pushing the temps down. Generally, my neighborhood is ~10F cooler than PHX.

Maybe with humdex. I don't remember it ever hitting 39 C in Torona. Maybe 36 C or 37 C. With humidex, I thit at least the 40s.


Oh ya, and I had to plug in my printer to print out my gift card that's expiring in a month. FML. I hate having to plug that thing in.

Technically was in Vaughan, was at Canada's Wonderland. We aborted the idea of trying to go on rides and just went straight to water park. Pay freaking 10 bucks for a bottle of water too! They know how to get you.

Right now it's 26C, there's actually a heat warning in effect. :biggrin: Probably because Tuesday it's suppose to go up to 33. God bless air conditioning.

Felt something on top of my nose, went to scratch, came back with a giant black piece of "lint" on my finger. Not lint, an effing fruit fly that I mushed.

Couple minutes later... fruit fly flies into my nostril. Thought I breathed out quickly enough, but felt something up there. Had to go jam a finger up there to make sure it didn't make it in.

Why so many? Cause some f-wit likes to keep dozens of flower pots indoors, all in their own little extremely humid greenhouses (i.e. top halves of 2 liter soda bottles).

So, apparently, I've not been in full compliance with the European Union's law regarding cookies. Didn't even know this thing existed until today. I had detailed info on cookies but didn't "confirm" consent.

Not sure how they planned on expediting my non-European ass.
