My boss lost his iphone last week, and his daughter picked up a new one for him. I went to goodwill over the weekend, and found a nice hello kitty case for the phone :^D He's still using it. It's a pretty nice case. Red so it's easy to see, and it has a bumper around the screen. Oh, and it has hello kitty on the back :^D

FWP? I wanted to make his ringtone a cat meowing. He now has a lockscreen activated. A little shoulder surfing can get around that, but Apple makes their crap so "easy", you simply have to load an mp3 into itunes, say a prayer to steve jobs, and I guess it pukes out something that worthless slab can use. So much easier than the android method of dropping a mp3 in your notifications folder, and setting it as the ringtone :^S I don't know if I feel like it now. Apple ruined my life joke :^S

Went to the gym and went to level up on one of the machines. That should have been 15 lbs. I go to do the exercise and I'm like WTF, it was a very heavy 15 extra pounds. I figured I just wasn't ready for it. I do a few reps anyway with shitty form and go to change the setting and find out that someone had put an extra 10 weight on the stack. So it was really 25 lbs. Crap. I don't know how much bad form detracts from the benefit you get from an exercise but I always try to make sure I'm ready for the next level so I don't have to find out.

Found out there's some digital music player that literally damages speakers because it boosts volumes beyond 100% and warranties have gotten denied.... It apparently hard clips sound. How are people listening to crap being hard clipped and how are they not going deaf at 100% volume?

I ordered tires on Monday that were supposed to be installed yesterday but never arrived. The manager says he'll call me when they come in but I never heard from him. Today I call the store to find out what's going on and the manager finds out that the DC shipped the wrong tires to his store so they have to overnight the right ones. Perhaps tomorrow I can get then installed without any issues.

I need to get this shit on my neck checked out but the first available appointment for a respectable doctor is 2 weeks away. fuck me.

I knew you were a hopeless optimist when you scheduled and appt for the day the tires were supposed to arrive. I wanted to say something but there was always the chance you could be right, slim though it might be.

When did vets have to start going to VA hospitals exclusively. I grew up as a dependent of a deceased Army vet and me and my mom always went to active duty military hospitals.

Because if its your primary insurance you must schedule to be seen in one of their facilities. If an opening cannot be obtained in a reasonable amount of time, which is determined by them, then they will authorize you to see a civilian facility through the veterans choice program but they have to authorize it first or you get stuck with the bill. I'm like a ping pong ball right now trying to get care for my arthritic knees and it's a real pain in the butt.

I'm still waiting for the follow up visit since the MRI was completed and I've still got to be seen for my right knee since they corrected the authorization. It's a real mess and then once you've been seen and diagnosed you have to wait for authorization to start the treatments recommended by the attending doctor. This is why vet's die waiting for care and it needs to be changed ASAP to stop the madness.
