Likely just your everyday "wrong address." The only time I ever got one of those Amazon app notices where the delivery person takes a pic of the place they left your package it was left on a neighbor's porch.I placed a $75 amazon order yesterday that should have been delivered same day...I got the notification that it was delivered even though it never arrived.
I did the auto chat this morning with them..

The status on my order was actually updated to "Handed directly to resident"...LOL
You mean have to pay $360ish in city taxes every month? Hory shetYeah it's bad, everything is just so expensive and just keeps going up. I was actually doing better 10 years ago even though I made like 70k since everything was cheaper.
Mortgage $1300, Hydro $140, city taxes $360ish, water $100, gas, $120, insurance $170, cell phone $60, internet around $60 etc... just to name a few of the bills. 80k is also gross, so by the time I see the money it's around 60k or so after all the deductions.
I wish for individual it worked like a company, we should only get taxed on profit. Ex: our after living expense income. So whatever is left over after you pay all your bills, that's what we should get taxed on. It's how it works for companies.
Toying with starting a corporation so I can put a lot of stuff under it. Like maybe I can put the house under the corporation and then rent to myself. I'd have to sit down with a tax accountant to figure out the best approach while also staying legal.

Dayum. My city and county were $630 for the year. We do pay on vehicles but that only $235 more.Yeah it's insane, and it goes up every year. Same with water. Water is $100/mo. it's a flat rate based on the number of rooms in the house, and what is considered a room is arbitrary. I think the living room and kitchen is 2 rooms, but if your house is open concept it's 1 room, then bed rooms are individual rooms. My house is considered having 5 rooms when there's only 3 bed rooms.
I could start knocking down walls but they're load bearing so it gets more complicated.

I am in podunk S.C., city population of 40K. Our education scores and obesity scores are in inverse competition with each other.Wow that's super cheap. I'm looking into buying land in an unorganized township and building from scratch so I can set it up off grid which would eliminate most bills. The taxes in those areas are usually around $100-$200/year and you don't need permits to build stuff. Such land is at least an hour away from here though so I would need to quit my job and find another source of income but I can at least build it as a camp over the years and still go on my time off. Something I'm looking into for the future. I can't keep living here, I'm just going to have less and less money until I'm forced to move. To live off grid I would go from like $3000+/mo in living expenses to well under $1,000 (I would probably still want insurance, internet etc), so I would not need that much income.
Did they save their allowances? No $$, bottom shelf.Having to choose what brand of dog food for my mutts to buy.
