"If I tell ya, I gotta kill ya."

Who'd have ever thought a silly statement like that would be enough to get vacationed from Facebook?
(glad it was on my wife's account)

Someone at work thinks it's a good idea to fill the ice cube trays completely full. Not just to the top of the individual cubes but to the top of the tray. It's basically one big cube, can't break them apart by twisting the tray.
I go wash my hands if i have to break them apart but i'm betting others aren't.
Toss em in the trash.

The US Air Force can deliver a nuke anywhere in the world in under an hour but try to get a package delivered from Europe and it’s like it’s being delivered by Vikings.
“Here’s the package for Vineland. Make sure it gets there quick.”
“You got it! But first we’ll stop off to pick up some slaves in England, winter over in Iceland, maybe catch an Edda, then we’ll be in Vineland in no time.”
“Where the f’ is my package?”
“Dude, we can’t leave now, Prairie Home Companion is on.”
Ordered April 12. Still waiting. I think the Vikings settled down in Minnesota and they ain't delivering my package until they win a Super Bowl.

Damn ants, little buggers running around our granite counter tops. Got some RAID ant traps (why are they white?). Didn't seem to be working so I put a couple right in the middle of the counter. Watched for a bit and the little MFers just avoided the traps. A couple walked over it but didn't go in. Well done J&J, you made bait traps that the ants aren't even curious about!

Reminds me of female porn star abusing a female sex doll's holes (all 3).

It was hot!

One of my "high" paying interest reward checking was paying about 4.01% and now it is paying less than 2% (1.71%).

Then - about $120 interest payout per month.

Now - about $51 interest payout per month.

<sad panda>

Oh, and I could not switch a spicy chicken sandwich for a classic chicken sandwich at Wendy's because I used a coupon. Same pricing on both sandwiches.

When I stop at a traffic light with our Segway Ninebot ES3 Plus someone invariably wants to ask questions about it, usually as soon as I get the green light.
“How long does the battery last?”
“How much was that?”
“How fast is it?”
“Where did you buy it?”
“Do you really have to stop at lights?”
“Are you serious?! No freakin’ way, dude! You do you.”
“How stable is it?”
“How long does it take to charge?”
etc
etc
etc

Got several of those today when I took it out on my lunch break.

Why stop? Isn't it just like bikers? Traffic rules don't apply.

Amazon saw fit to ship my solitary edison bulb in plastic bubble-lined envelope.
OF COURSE the box and bulb within got smashed en route. It was just shrapnel rattling in a sealed envelope by the time UPS put it in my hand.

You'd think Amazon might know how to package light bulbs.
(Looks like I'll be getting a free replacement - not that it's shipped yet.)

In other news, I called the local ISP to ask for a deal ($40 or less a month with unlimited data internet for home) and the CSR did it but now I will have to pay over $60/month. Gonna have to call again on Monday and ask them to lower the price or I will leave.

So I called the local ISP back and the best offer they could offer was about $40 a month for unlimited data with 400 Mb speed. I asked if I can get a cheaper price if I lower the speed but keep the unlimited data and they said no (have to have the 400 speed to get the unlimited data deal). So now I pay about $5 extra per month but no longer have to worry about overcharge of data (250 Gb per month limit and no carry over if you use less than the allowance in any month).

Sweet deal. I pay about $125/mo for 100 mb internet. Sadly, my only other oprions are centurylink DSL with 3mb speed...or StarLink...which, at $99/mo might be a better deal.

Don't you live in the woods/rural area with no competition for interet? With the Covid is still running around and work from home stuff, I think internet connection is necessary as electricity, water, sewerage, and trash collection (basic utilities).

A while back, I saw a mailer for Hughes satellite internet mail to a friend of mine and it was not cheap. She lives out in the rural area.

Tried to report a phishing site hosted by google but the form is all legalease and you basically need to swear under oath and everything, it's basically a legal document and you're essentially opening a court case under your name. yeah... I did not want to report the site that badly. What ever happen to just being able to send a quick email to a certain mailbox like abuse@ or something.

yeah, Hughes is trash by comparison to StarLink. My area is hella rural...I'm in a small town ( 6500 pop) in a county of <75000.

lol but not funny if it was mine. After the replacement, return the other for a refund.

I noticed that Hulu has another SciFi show called The First, about sending people to Mars.

There have been a lot of shows about this topic recently. I'm worried that Mars is turning into the new zombies when it comes to the "go to" SciFi movie topic.

Maybe they can put a unique twist on the next one.... Like the world deciding that they are sick of insurance commercials and they banish all of the actors from them to outer space without proper training. Can Jake from State Farm and Flo survive the long trip to Mars, or will they slowly suffocate because they can't figure out how to close the airlock correctly? Stay tuned!

Dryer broke. Thing is 3.5 years old. Damn Samsung. Gotta wait a week for the repair guys to come so I had to wash my clothes again and take them to a laundromat to dry like a peasant. First I had to walk to the laundromat to buy a big laundry bag to get the clothes, then get the clothes and go dry them. Like a peasant I say.

My dryer's been broken for a couple years now. I hang my stuff outside. That's my preference anyway, but now I'm at the mercy of the weather. I don't have a dryer to fall back on if the weather doesn't cooperate.

I have an older style washer and dryer, no electronics or complicated stuff. So far so good after a little over 10 years...

Only thing is I kinda want a front load washer at some point, but you need to get into the ones with all the electronics like Samsung etc for that. I think I would just try to get ahold of a commercial grade one instead. The downside with the top load is there is less room, can't do the bed blankets so every time my cat pukes in the bed I need to drag that to the laundromat which is a pain.

We have a 5.0 cu/ft Samsung front loader. Biggest we could get...just for the two of us. The idea was...we'd be able to wash our Call-King bedding instead of taking it to the laundromat.

Nope. Some stuff still has to go down to the "big boy" washers.

LOL! Exactly. A typical cyclist would've just blown the light since they don't have to worry about their bad behavior getting bikes banned. For eScoots everyone's gotta be on their best behavior until they are ubiquitous if they don't want the city legislating against them.
