what game have you played most several times and why?

Many times I think I'm going to replay a game I'm playing with a different character or party setup while I'm playing it, but after 40+ hours of playing the game and finishing it, I never find the will to go at it again (besides, considering the backlog, there are always plenty of games I haven't played before I go replaying old ones)

Pretty much this. I always think I'm going to try this game again and play an evil party, or something such, but the truth is I have a backlog of over 200 games. And the siren call of new worlds to explore is just too great. I'll probably never again get around to playing a game for a second time. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

Half-Life 2. I still maintain that it is by far the best FPS ever, and since current studios steadfastly refuse to make single-player shooters that aren't bastardized with RPG/adventure gameplay, I find it hard to believe anything with usurp it soon.

dawn of war 2 (and expansions), loved the engine & warhammer 40k setting! wish they could make a 3rd, but alas, Relic is a shadow of its former self after THQ went bankrupt.

Im about to play Dawn of War 2 again with a friend in coop campaign (im pretty sure there was a coop option somewhere in it)

DoW2 is such a great game, had so much fun playing it.
In comparison to Dawn of War 1, the fact that you cant create Astartes and that you need to use the ones that you have for the rest of the level, as well as having recognizable characters as the leader of each kind of space marines, makes you feel like the unstoppable War machine that a space marine is

Final Fantasy 6 as far as number of playthroughs go, Battlefield 2 for total time invested. Modern Warfare 2 is probably close to BF2 for me.

If I go by Steam numbers, then Borderlands 2 seems to run longer than Skyrim. PC overall, definitely GW1 and GW2.

back in the day...Warcraft 2 probably beats out the Borderlands games. Other than GW games, I would think the game I have played the most would be Final Fantasy 2.

In terms of gaming - if it's not online gaming, I tend not to play a game again.

I do recall playing all the SMB's more than once pver the years and Zelda LTTP a few times, but otherwise, I move on to the next game. I really have no interest in playing a game again to see a different ending or to get 100%.
