Few tips for Dragon Age:

Its not a D&D game. Don't try to play it like Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights.

Don't worry about skill points. There are mods that allow you to alter the point distribution, but you max out most of the stuff later on anyway.

Yes, money is tight...you can't just buy everything in the game like most RPGs.

All of the above is irrelevant. Play as a mage. In fact, play with all three mages. Cone of cold. Area of effect spells. Its a damn near broken game. I marched around naked with my lady mages, naked...no robes!....casting cone of cold on everything.

Recently hooked my ps3 controller up to my laptop and have been playing old Sega and SNES games. Finishing up Shining Force, Zelda is next.

I only really play sports games, so I don't care if we aren't supposed to post about them. I'm doin' the franchise thing on NFL2k5 on Xbox.

MAYBE.... You know Blizzard (It'll be done when it's done). They broke Star Craft II into 3 separate games (well sort of). Diablo III will definitely be released some time significantly after SCII so it might not even be in 2011?

Blizzard said they would have two major releases next year (this was in 2009, so they were talking about 2010) which should be SC2 and WoW: Cataclysm (an exp pack to Blizzard counts as a major release).

At Blizzcon in 2010 they should display the 5th class for Diablo 3 and have most of the level work done by then to where it should only be minor touch up work from there. I saw an interview on youtube where a developer stated they were only up to parts of Act 2 for Diablo 3. This was shortly after displaying the 4th class (Monk).

With Blizzard though, if they are not 100% satisfied with their product they will delay it for as long as they want.

Modern Warfare 2

Even though the cheaters are getting worse and now this hacked server crap pretty much busts the game.

And bits of Left 4 Dead with friends, also Torchlight.

I still have way too many games I've never beaten like HL Ep1, 2, Portal, Mass Effect, Stalker and Clear Sky.

edit: By in spite of too many games as it is, I may have to get Dirt 2 from the Steam sale. I could use a new racing game and $20 for a new one is nice.

Just finished GTA4. Halfway through Crysis. Not sure if I should try Fallout 3 (never really played RPGs), Arma 2 seems like it might be worth investing the time and energy in.

I got Assassin's Creed for the PS3 when it came out--repetitive but fun. I can't imagine playing that on my lowly PC monitor, though. need the HD goodness to jump around and stab people.

I may hit up Dragon's Age a year or so from now when it's 20 bucks with expansion + extra content...oh, and assuming I still have time for that shit

If you are interested in expansions Dragon Age has a CRAZY detailed modding tool that you can download. Basically it's the same tool they used to script the game. Allows full control over every fucking little detail, make your own movies, animations, campaigns,sounds, everything. There are going to be some amazing mods coming out for this I can see, at least the potential is there. But of course you have to have about a billion hours of free time to actually make something interesting out of it.

Haven't played Fallout 3 either but it's more of a cross between an RPG and an FPS. Only thing that I don't care for from the screen shots and videos is that the graphics while impressive look rather bland, like it's a world made all of concrete.

I'm playing KOTOR and TF2 mainly. KOTOR has been crashing on me periodically though, which is kind of frustrating.

I played a bit of Braid over the past while, which I really can't figure out because I'm a dumbass.

Tried Killing Floor briefly last night, but did not really like it much. Maybe I'll try the single player though to get a feel for it.

Fired up Indigo Prophecy briefly and hated the controls, but I'll give it another shot soon.

UO, but it's been months. Working on my new server which will be better and hopefully more people will join too.

In past few days I've been playing LOTR Battle For Middle Earth a lot. I played it a while back at a lan party then just felt the urge to play it again just against the cpu. I have this issue with my computer where the sound gets all crappy though, so I end up turning it off as it gets unbearable, all choppy and scratchy. Need to figure out what's causing it, I'm thinking it's the onboard sound. I have to get a separate card next time I have to do an order on tigerdirect.

Left 4 Dead 2 mainly. Just finished a long campaign last week in Empire: Total War; conquered most of the world with the exception of my 2 allies. Wow, was like a crack addiction.

Looking for new stuff now. Just upgraded my system, going to pick up a new VC soon, so need stuff to take advantage of it.

I was playing Assassin's Creed on the 360, but I finally gave up on that crappy game. Boring, repetetive, story made no sense, and just felt generic. I realized I was only playing for the achievements, so I gave up.

But now, I'm playing KOTOR on the PC. I just recently finished Mass Effect, and I'm playing KOTOR to bridge the gap between Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.
