What games have you invested the most time in and how much time?

For me, I think it's:

Descent / Descent 2: >300 hours
Operation Flashpoint (original) + expansions: >300 hours
Command and Conquer Generals + Zero Hour >200 hours
Falcon 4 & Allied Force >400 hours
Battlefield 2 + expansions >600 hours
Bad Company 2 >200 hours

Counter Strike

Don't know how much time but easily a few thousand hours. Played almost every day from 1999 until 2005.

Battlefield 2 probably around 300hrs

WoW, TFC, TF2 in that order. Don't really track specific amounts of time. WoW is somewhere between 200-300 days played.

NBA 2K3 on the gamecube. I've played nearly a hundred complete seasons. Probably in the realm of 2000 hours.

Oh, PC game? Starcraft 1. At least 1000 hours. At the least. NBA 2K10 has a hundred or so hours in the past month or so...

League of Legends - About 800 games played, figure the average game length is 30 mins. That's 400 hours.

Asheron's Call. I played from late 2000 - early 2001, then again from late 2001 to 2006ish. I probably logged something like 10-15 hours a week into that game, and I have absolutely no regrets. It had a very social, tight-nit community and I still talk to many of the people that I met in the game today.

A close second is Diablo 2. I have absolutely no idea how much time I sunk into that game, but I did enjoy it until I quit sometime in 1.09.

Beyond that, probably CS: S, COD4, BF2, Starcraft (original), Warcraft III, and WoW.

So, pushing 1000 hours there. Frankly, that number is depressing, and I know I'll be adding to it soon.

Pff, I had 183 days played on my main and 40 played on my alt pre BC. Took a break for a bit then made a new character that I played in BC and WotLK, that character had around 115 days plus a new alt I made in WotLK that had about 20 days played.

Yes, I get hooked into MMO's pretty bad when I play them /sigh
