You know, the game that always has a place on your drive. Reformats and crashes don't matter -- the game is the first one you reinstall and the one that never gets deleted.
For me, it's the original Quake. This is the game that started my FPS gaming and I still enjoy playing it to this day. Modifications and texture updates are still be made for the game, and you'd be amazed how well it looks now compared to what it looked like when it was released almost 10 years ago.
For me, I just don't play games much compared to the past. Games come and go on my system, yet Quake1 is always there. Playing Rocket Arena against some Omnicron bots on the highest skill is still very enjoyable.
What games are like that for you?
