Hi guys. This is my configuration:
I7 3770 @ 3.4Ghz
16GB RAM @ 1866MHZ (OC)
Board: Asus P8Z77-V LK
Grap Card: Asus Radeon HD 7770.

Now, when I bought this pc, I saved money on GC because I wasn't a gamer enthusiast, but nowadays I can't run almost any new game, and so I have about 150€ to spend on a new graphics card. I'm not sure if I stick with AMD or go to NVidia and not sure which card in particular will perform better in this system. Can I have your input?

BTW, I have a benq FHD @ 60Hz as my monitor.

Thanks in advance

Wait till March when most of the new cards have been release and then decide if you can. New cards offer new performance and brings existing card prices down.....usually but in this environment, might not!

580 8 GB and 1060 6 GB should adequate for FHD 60fps. 1070 or Vega 56 with the current onslaught of inventory clearance prices, for a major perf bump and long-term assurance.

A RX 570 or GTX 1050 Ti are probably close to your price range, but I don’t know how much (if any) VAT you’d pay or if there’s other local markup over regular rates.

They’re both pretty close in terms of performance but the 1050 Ti will use a lot less power.

You might want to wait until NVidia refreshes their cards since those should be coming soon and help drive down prices. There were also rumors that AMD would have some good performance/price cards, but it could be quite a while until they drop.

Both those gcs are way above 200€ here in Portugal.

Sorry, didn't pay attention to the budget. Between those the 580 4GB would be the obvious choice. For 20 euros the perf difference is large

Yeah, get the RX 580 if those are your two choices. But consider, the same thing is going to happen to that new card, that happened with your old card, if you only get the 4GB model, most likely. Are there any 8GB models available, and at what prices?

Store has these:

Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 570 8GB GDDR5 for 182,87€ (used but as new);

Gigabyte Aorus Radeon RX 580 8G 8GB GDDR5 for 208,24€ (also used);

For Nvidia:

Zotac Geforce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5 for 188,97€

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050Ti D5 4GB GDDR5 for 176,77€

GTX 1060 6GB is over 250€, would it worth the extra 50€ on RX 580 8GB? (I only expected to pay 200€ max)

I'm really thinking to go with RX 580 8GB for 208€

Thank you guys.

Sorry going to have to disagree with you on that:

The RX 580 4GB is a superior choice to the 1050ti in just about every benchmark I've ever seen.

GTX 1050ti is the weakest of all choices you have, it is about 30% slower than the RX 570, and over 50% slower than the RX 580.

The RX 570 trades blows with the 1060 3GB, but with only 3GB of vram the RX 570 has the edge in newer games.

I'd go for the Aorus RX 580 8GB, for just $208 its a steal. Aorus is one of the best builds out there, it has a very beefy cooler, they used to cost $270 even before the mining craze, $30 price premium for the beefy cooler, the fact that you can get it now for $208 is quite sweet. Used is always an issue, so don't know about that, is there still warranty?

Thank you all guys. I'll end up paying 209€ for RX 580 8gb from Gigabyte. Thank you very much for all your input.

At those prices probably the 580. If probably want to do a little more research on the specific models but the 580 in general is a big step up for only 20€. Here’s one comparison: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-AMD-RX-580/3649vs3923

It’s not the exact models (and I’m not sure how much better the OC would be), but the performance difference seems so large that minor variations shouldn’t matter that much.

If there’s a specific game you really want to play or tend to play disproportionately then maybe look at that particular title, but in general the 580 seems to be a better value at those prices.
