Depends on what I need. There is an Albertsons within walking distance of my apartment, so if I just need a gallon of milk, a box of cereal, or fruit, I just had over there. Their alcohol selection is decent too, though a big over priced. Usually the Walgreen's a block away has better prices on my favorite beer. For more robust grocery shopping, I drive to the Walmart. I avoid the produce section at Walmart though, its terrible.

Stop & Shop: (For genral food shopping) They have reasonable prices & very good selection.

Stew Leonards - (Fresh produce) They have very high quality fresh meat, fish, veggies & fruit ... much better then most supermarkets.

Edit: And forgot to mention the OP's poll is missing many choices!

Super Target FTW! The one in Maple Grove, MN is the shit. Great fresh produce, lots of 'exotic' items I can't find at rainbow or cub. Their Archer Farms brand is quite tasty and has a very diverse range of flavors and the food is actually good. And it is cheaper. I would say 70% of items are over $1 cheaper the other 30% are $2-3 dollars cheaper.

I buy most of my stuff at WalMart, because I work at Food Lion. I have a slight mental hangup with paying my own check. Actually, I just get tired of seeing their products.

I shop at Wal-mart. I easily save at least a 20 spot shopping there over somewhere else.

Giant Eagle.

It's a nice store, not too big, there are always lots of registers open, and it's only 2 miles away.

I go to grocery outlet because it carries name brands for way less than other chains.

There are several stores around the Seattle area and I saw one in the SF area too

Costco, Stop and Shop, Big Y, Price Chopper. Whichever one I'm around. Stew Leonards is cool, just too expensive.

Harris Teeter, because it's the closest and they have a very nice variety of produce and good meats. It's a bit expensive though. I'd rather have a Wegmans close by.

Lucky enough to be very close to a Wegman's right now, which is better than any other grocery store I've ever shopped in. Including much more expensive ones like Whole Foods. It's a world of difference from somewhere like Wal-Mart.

Depends what part of the country I'm in. Albertson's at the moment since I'm out west. Giant Eagle/Shop N Save/Naser's in the Pittsburgh area. Wegman's in upstate NY. Farm Fresh and Trader Joe's back home in VA.

Wegman's is probably my favorite.

Safeway. It's closest, and relatively cheap. They've got OK produce but the meat is a little more pricey than Fry's.

We do go to trader joe's for certain things.

HEB is a dominant grocer in Texas and Vons/Pavillions has a lot of stores in California.

Marsh. I live equidistant from there and a Kroger, and actually, Kroger's slightly cheaper. But, the Marsh is cleaner, has friendlier staff, and the produce is much better.
