Nunya! I never casually disclose the number or type of firearms I own, as a general rule. People who go around talking about their guns have a fair chance of finding their house broken into and their guns stolen one day, because they blabbed too much.

But I've completed the following courses:

NRA Basic Handgun/Pistol
NRA Basic Rifle
NRA Personal Protection
Michigan CCW Permit Holder (moved to California recently)
Intermediate Defensive Handgun

Plus hours and hours and hours of range time.

You mean 2nd Amendment right? BTW can you post pics of the calico magazine? I've always wondered how they manage to fit 50-100 rounds in there.

Was @ work & typing fast/thinkin' slow...

Pic of Calico magazine...

I really like the durable finish of the Marine Magnum, have always wanted one since I first saw them... Worth the $ IMHO.

Sometimes to protect the 1st Amendment, you have to use the 2nd Amendment.

BTW, I have an alarm system, nosey neighbors, active police dept, & gun safes...

Plus the wife is a better shot than me

I'm here to tell you that you shouldn't judge the State of California by the inordinate amount of political influence the Bay Area has over the State's politics. I was a critic of California's fruity leftwing political atmosphere, myself, before I moved here. Once you get out of the Bay Area, views on gun control, among other things, depart dramatically from the HQ of far-left extremism in the US.

There is a gun shop and range one mile from where I live now and its busy all the time. There have been several defensive shootings in the Stockton/Sacramento area the past couple months, citizens defending themselves during robberies and home invasions. There are actually a couple California counties where the average person has a fighting chance of obtaining a CCW permit without having to be politically well-connected or prove an 'unusual and compelling need'. I don't live in one of those counties, but there are a couple.

Its no different in Michigan where Detroit holds an inordinate amount of political influence over the rest of the State which largely doesn't share Detroit's politics. When we were lobbying for the passage of Michigan's CCW bill, it was largely Detroit's political machine we were fighting. The rest of the state was favorable or indifferent to it overall.

But I didn't move here freely, I had little other choice.

A joke. I was laughing with Pliablemoose and his humor not at him.

Want to match IQs?? Not that they really mean anything.

Sorry if I misunderstood your post.

Thanks! I really wanted to get one of those, however the law in hawaii says that I can't have more than 10 rounds in a magazine. It would have been fun to line up 100 cans @50 yards to see how many I could hit though...Oh well.

Isn't Hawaii like the other states? You can own the older stuff, just no sales of newly manufactured >10 round magazines.

I think that only applies to things like pre-ban AR15s. IIRC 10+ magazines are restricted to military and police, but I'll have to check up on that, perhaps (hopfully) I misunderstood somthing.
