Caroline's Comedy Club in Times Square, New York City. Poor service, insane prices - and the deceptive practice of selling the glass with large beers (without the waiter informing me).

It's unfair to say Walmart. But basically large corporations can charge muc hcheaper prices, destroying local competition. What's interesting is that Walmart can only destroy a community when the community itself participates by buying wlamart products so its not as if walmart is going around kicking people kittens.

Some people seem to be confusing boycotting something with just not liking the product. You're not boycotting something unless the product is worth its set price but you're not buying it because of other reasons, ie you dont like the company. You disliking the product and consequently not buying it does not count as boycotting

If you're not buying current products because of experiences with past products, yes that would be a boycott. Even if Sony made the best DVD player and sold it at a competitive price, I wouldn't buy it because I don't like they handled issues with their DVD players in the past.
I just count that into "not liking the company"

Well, yeah. I see what you're saying - that it's not a boycott unless it's for ideological reasons. That's a valid point of view.

Sony for almost 2 decades now. Started with overpriced consumer electronics that didn't last more than a few months before breaking down, but their recent audio CD rootkits and decimation of the MMORPG genre by their online division just proves I was right all along.

Logitech, cause their crappy mice die within a few months.

McD's and all other fast food joints around (for the farming practices they encourage)
Rockstar Games (for dicking over the industry with infantile bullsh*t)

Microsoft ----> Illegal practices + Crappy Software + Bad Customer Treatment = People should use open source and free software whenever possible.

All trendy hip clothing places you find at malls and what not! -----> Because looking hip = looking lame and brainwashed!

Sony -----> Why a company that creates great hardware then limits it for use in conjunction with worst software ever beats me (just take a look at their MP3/Atrac plus player and Net MD players!) Add to that last year's root kit fiasco!

McDonalds ----> Let's face it their food is crap.

KFC ---> See McDonalds

H&R Block -----> Because their online service is teh Sux0rZ!

Best Buy ----> Let's face it they are ripping people off (However I did have my $900
revenge against Best Buy during many of their screwups!)

Why this totally repulsed me and caused me to never eat veal again, which I really liked at the time, is beyond me. I don't know, it just struck a nerve with me that I still do not eat it even today.

Peace

I think they were strapped up for days. Veal was great but I would no longer eat it.

So because of Microsoft, all closed software should be avoided?

I also boycott Mac, if nothing else their ads are half lies and horribly annoying.

And McDonald's, they support gun control, screw that. BK had better burgers anyway, but I rarely eat at fast food places to begin with.
