What inspired you to join AT forums?

AT doesn't get as much traffic as many sites, but I almost always get my questions answered eventually, and most of the members seem to be aware of their skill level. There isn't as much garbage advice as you find at many sites.

Funny thing is... yous guys have been a huge part of my life (sad as that is...) in many ways.

Real reason for me is that I was looking for input on a video card purchase (Radeon 9700, I think it was) and I was also looking at hot deals for my fist computer build back in 2005. I must have found these forums via search at the time, and decided to check out Off Topic.

came to see the hot deals, lurked for a little bit and then saw someone ask a question about finding furniture row in san marcos and noticed no one was replying. signed up to answer their question and i've been around ever since.
