I play keyboard, guitar and lead electron. I've played piano since I was five and guitar since I was fifteen. I played professionally after I dropped out of law school (a good choice).
I've always tinkered with electronics, and as a poor musician (arent most of us?), I couldn't afford to pay someone else to repair my amps, so I picked up a couple of electronics books, and found that they made sense, and I could do my own amp repairs. Then, I started doing it for side money. After awhile, I found I could design good working circuits, so now, I design audio gear, mostly professional studio stuff, both solid state and tube.
