Last Intel cpu I used isn't listed either, it was a Core Duo T2500. It still works, but the screen and battery in the laptop are shot, so I robbed the power cord and ram for another laptop.

I trust in my Intel's processor performance, but I don't think that the FTC trusts in Intel itself...

this has probably already come up, but i'm too lazy to read through 6 pages to find out, so i'll just ask.

what's the point of differentiating between different models of core 2 duos? i can understand making the distinction between c2d and c2q but i mean really what's the significance of all of the sub-categories of c2d? the only reason i can think is that more people have c2d's than any other processor on that list, so it would look extremely skewed (especially if that were to include all conroe dual cores, not just core 2 duos). besides, that totally leaves out people who have laptops that are running a core 2 duo since they don't follow the same naming scheme as their desktop counterparts...otherwise i'd mark core 2 duo since my laptop is the only computer i use with any of those chips in it.

Not all of them are used tho, the guests computers rarely get touched, but its there.
The HTPC + Server 1 and 3 are probably the ones being used the most.
Server 2 will replace server 3.

The 975 is my test station, the 980X is my gaming station.

I used to be a cruncher, but i retired from crunching.
Never grew out of the habit of having a decent sized farm tho.

Pentium 4 - 2.26Ghz with 2GB RAM running on Windows XP SP3. We've also got a laptop (purchased last year) with an E5400 and another Pentium 4 - 1.8Ghz also with 2GB RAM running on Windows XP SP3, but we're upgrading it this week possibly to an i3-530 2.93Ghz.
