this has probably already come up, but i'm too lazy to read through 6 pages to find out, so i'll just ask.
what's the point of differentiating between different models of core 2 duos? i can understand making the distinction between c2d and c2q but i mean really what's the significance of all of the sub-categories of c2d? the only reason i can think is that more people have c2d's than any other processor on that list, so it would look extremely skewed (especially if that were to include all conroe dual cores, not just core 2 duos). besides, that totally leaves out people who have laptops that are running a core 2 duo since they don't follow the same naming scheme as their desktop counterparts...otherwise i'd mark core 2 duo since my laptop is the only computer i use with any of those chips in it.
