What is a good WIRED keyboard?

Seems like all the newer keyboards are wireless, I dont need that. I dont need a bazillion multimedia keys either, but I do want smooth and quiet keys.
Any recomendations?

I just bought one of these for my spare rig and really like it so far. It's very quiet and comes with a built in USB port and a flexible light that you can plug in and use when typing at night. I also like the scroll bar on the left side because I try to use my mouse as little as possible. The only thing I don't like is the scroll bar's annoying red/green/blue flashing light, but that's easily turned off by holding it down for two seconds and releasing. After that, it stays off until you reactivate it.

FWIW I have an IBM KB-9910 that I picked up at CompUSA. Compact size, good key action. Only thing it doesn't have that I like is the "L" shaped Enter key.

I am a huge fan of the MS natural elite keyboards. I also don't like extra buttons. Its got a pretty small footprint, great build quality and it feels great to type on. I own a few of them and would recommend them to anyone that likes split type keyboards.

its 30 bucks, it has multimedia keys, the keys are soft and kinda quite. zero tilt, small footprint. Great keyboard. with the press of a button you can have a menu popup with your favorite programs, which you chose for yourself. Plus plus while playing games the volume is just a pinkie finger away. You will not want 2 go back once you get hooked

Whoa! Pure slickness, the ladies will definately flock to you if you're using that one.
(Not because of the keyboard, of course, but because of the simple fact that they will know that you spent nearly $200 on it. )
I'm content with a pair of the black-colored models, if only because I only paid about $40 each for them, and I consider that a steal for these particular keyboards.

Yeah, they take some getting used to. Once I did get used to it though I like it MUCH more then a normal keyboard. I can type faster and my hands actually do rest at a more natural angle. I think its fantastic.

The Logitech DiNovo keyboard looks really great and I have been thinking about getting one. The one thing holding me back is that its not a split keyboard and I am afraid I will not like typing on it as much. Since I have been used to my MS naturals (since whenever they came out 4 or 5 or whatever years ago) I don't really like typing on non split keyboards now.

As far as typing comfort goes the MS natural elites are the best keyboards I have used.
