What is AGP performance control?

Hi. I have been wondering, what is "AGP Performance Control" setting in the bios of my Asus A7V8X mobo? It has the Via KT400 chipset for Athlon XP. I just upgraded from GeForce 4 4400 to Radeon 9800 Pro and was wondering what this was, and weather to enable it or not.

Also, I dont see a setting in my bios that I used to see in the bios of my A7V133 called "Side Band Addressing", is this just an automatic feature that I cant control like I could on the older A7V133 mobo?

What are the values for APC? If it's enabled and disabled, it could be Fast Writes rebadged. Have you played with it and checked various utilities in Windows?

The A7V133 is a KT133 chipset, correct? Back in the days of AGP 4X (rev. 2.0), SBA was kind of like FW where you could enable or disable at will, but in the AGP 8X (rev. 3.0) SBA is mandatory so that might explain its absence from the BIOS.
