I think it has something to do with PC games, or something else??
Thanks
(obviously a Noob question)

In most cases, an "aimbot" is someone with faster reflexes and better hand-eye coordination than his/her opponent(s).

I'm definitely not fishing for this, so that I could use one, but......................
Just curious, do you have to make them yourself, tailored specifically for your PC game? How do you know if someone is using one, or is this not possible? Wouldn't most Game Servers have stuff to detect AIMbots, or would newer AIMbots not be detectable? I play UT2003, are there AIMbots out there for this game, or do servers deny access to anyone using a AIMbot?
Just my $0.03

Yeah, there's plenty right here. Don't worry, most modern ones have a stealth mode.

AIMbots were/are mostly used in Counter-Strike. A lot of them are now detected but some still exist. I tested out a few once and they were for lack of a better word, "Excellent." They were always on taget, you could select the region of the body you wanted to hit, you could set a delay for the aiming process to slow it down a little, you could tell to miss the first couple of times and then hit to fake them out. People also customized them to make them even better.

Final question (Maybe), so are this a lot of AIMbots for UT2003, or do joining servers detect most of em?

Isn't it obvious? They are having FUN... if it wasn't fun for them, they wouldn't do it.
Just because it's not fun for you, doesn't mean it's not fun for them.

................................................................. Of course, I won't even get into the heavy tweaking scene
Don't get me started on the case tweakers! O MAN, after I say that 'tweaked out case' is the Shizzle, I instantly think these guys need TO GET A LIFE. All of that so you can show it off to your cat. Invest that $$ in getting laid man, the ultimate means to the end!
Yes, there are bots for UT2k3. There are a lot more for UT, and being a server admin I catch them constantly, although it's not always easy. I have over 140 IP's and IP ranges banned on one of the servers I admin. There's supposed to be a patch out soon for UT with MD5 incorporated into the authentication that should eliminate all botting except for external RGB bots, but they usually suck anyways.Originally posted by: thatsright
Its such a shame that a fairly simple set of questions, attracts Jackasses like Homer to Duff.
Come on guys, keep it OT, no need for a flame/retard fest.
