What is everyone doing for new years?

A bigass party with friends tonight.
Probably play Mario Party 4 with siblings on the night of the 31st.
Get together with old neighbours on the 1st and then go out with friends at night.

Nothing as usual. I have come to realize that New Years is the biggest let down ever. Every year you think it will be so sweet, and your looking forward to it....but at the end of the day, it's just another night. Everyone acts like it's some big event, but I know that deep down inside they're thinking the same as me, "What a bunch of bull isht..." and they are all let down benieth all the artificial smiles and drunken laughter.

Not much. I'm lazy and was never a big one for New Years anyways. I mean, starting off the New Year hung over doesn't seem like a good way to set the tone

Drinking and gettin' laid, to put it simply. Well, the former for sure, the latter only if I don't do too much of the former.

I didn't go last year, but the year before.

It was like a giant rave/club and a vendor area. Multiple sections for different DJs/music. The biggest one was outdoors in the football field, the rest indoors.

It was really big, I think my friend said that year there were 30K people? I dunno if that's accurate though he might have been pulling that number out of his ass.

As for the lineup, I dunno how it is, I've been out of the scene. Mars is there again, but like my friend says, he's at like every event. Too much stuff for me to cut and paste, try a different browser.

It was ok, what was fun was we came across this girl that was wearing only bodypaint and my friend was like, "hit her up for a picture"

Just got back from Florida (hi all, I've missed OT ), and have no clue yet...there's always the close-and-good-friends-who-don't-do-anything-fun party to fall back on, but I'm hoping to find something with a little more alcohol in it's nature this year.

I was going to create a thread like this but I searched!!

Right now I have no clue what I'm doing but I might go with some people to Atlantic City, or go to a bar, or go over one of my friend's house, or just sit home (which is starting to become likeley given my 3 hrs of sleep last night)

New Years is a stupid holiday anyway. It's always been the worst IMO because it always meant the end of the holiday season and back to school.
