What is faster cable or Direcpc ?

I have waitng for cable here for 7 seven years, just plain cable tv, when cable added internet I went nuts and started going after TWC and after a year they said no way forget it ain't happening!! 4 days ago I bought a direcpc dish and installed it. Today I get a leter from TWC offering me free installation and first month free!!! Between my Directv, Direcpc, dialup and phone line I pay over 120.00 bucks a month. Cable would be around 80.00 for the same service. I figure I could sell all my satellite equipment for 150.00 and get most of my money back. Thing is I have no idea what the speed difference between the two.

The thing is that for the most part, your speeds are neighborhood dependant.

Ok lets say i live in the middle of nowhere, where if you tell someone you got cable today they would ask you what gauge it is and how many psi it will hold or can you pull my truck with it.....

is the satellite 2 way or one way? The cable connection will have less latency, if the connection is good.

The satellite is one way. We connect at 50666 on the dialup.

I have cable and I've got a DirecPC hook up at work...go with cable, it's by far faster.
