What is God to you?

I've come across a few religious oriented threads and I'm just curious about what people think God is. Is your view of God synonymous with that of a certain religion or is God independent of an organized religion? Does God exist at all? Is God actually present today or is God simply some "creative force" that really doesn't interfere with the universe? Does God have some master plan or is creation an accident? Is God a fair God or manipulative and unjust? I'm curious to see what people have to say.

I didn't I just happen to believe in one God so I guess my questions suffer a bias. There could be multiple gods. Do you believe in many and if so is there a hierarchy or is it like a roundtable each having equal authority. If you believe in multiple gods I'd like to hear your views.

i believe there is only one god, the concept of multiple gods is simply unlogical, if there were multiple gods it would be chaos...

different people and different religions might call god something else, or pray in different ways, but its all to the same god, harmony is in unity, and thus there can only be one god.

I do not believe in any gods since I'm a Buddhist, but since some religions worship one god and other religions multiple gods, it's nothing more than logical to say that there can be one or more gods, for you can not prove that there is only one or that there are multiple gods.

And if there are no gods, nothing will ever be proven.

I guess it's not just you, because I pretty much feel the same way.

I believe you meant illogical, but anyway there are several cultures/ppl that believe in multiple gods(e.g. ancient greeks, romans, etc.)

I'll be the first to admit that my idea of God is pretty different. I believe in a God with a long white beard, a gold crown, and a long robe with lots of shiny jewels on it. He sits on a big throne in the clouds, and He's about five hundred feet tall. He talks in a real deep voice like 'I...AM...GOD!' He can blow up stuff just by looking at it. This is my own, personal idea of God.
